Hi guys.. i was thinking.. about DD prizes..
|200K first place |150K Second Place |50K Third place
So.. let's try earn this money as a cop or taxi driver or business owner..
Very hard no?
If these rewards continue players tend to win some authoritie.. so if you kill them they will start whining "AMAGAD FREECOP x KILLED ME AND I SPENT 50K IN WEAPONS!! I WANT IT BACK!!!" or "STUPID FREECOP F*** YOU I WANT MY 50K BACK I WILL MAIL TO ARGONATH!!"
This will force more rulebreaking as flaming, deathmatch (sometimes) will increase court cases also complain at argonath..
Earning 200K in single night is about 5 - 7 months of very hard work of a dedicated worker
So, i suggest an lowering in event prizes.. about to 100K first place 50K second 25K Third.
This could be better.. i agree DD must continue in normal activities, but without tons of prize abuse.

Events can offer whatever they want. Gimli is trying his hardest to put as much money into the system as possible.
Tell me, Wayne, where does the money that people use to pay taxi drivers come from? Where do suspects get the money that they lose to cops?

i'm not asking to remove the events, i'm asking to lower the prizes of the events.

you are right Wayne, i got 253k in my bank account now but all this money is earned by me from taxi driver, and cop ! I worked 9 months to gain this money, and when a see a guy winning a DD event with 200k prize, i feel its kinda unfair :P ! I worked 9 months for that money and a guy wins it in 30 mins ! :|

1) its tottaly pointless :/ IRL you cant get 200,000$ for winning a DD i have worked hard for the 3.2 miljons :/ maybe 1 miljon is event cash but some guy just wins an event and hes basically same rich as me the diffrence is i worked for it he got it for having fun :/

well if i win some DD's or some event's who can bring me atleast 600k!!, i will might say what are you saying right now ! :D

Illegal ways are the easiest ways to make cash...You could make 100k+ just with one street race

If events are removed, then it will be almost impossible to make cash :(
and im sure seskom you didnt get your money with out altleast some hard event cash, if not, damm :conf:

For example, the DD at LV Parking, we took like 30 to setup, then it took another 30 min to let everyone enter.

It takes alot of time to plan such a DD and let it take place.
If the prizes would be lowered or the DDs be left away, everyone would start crying (as they are even doing yet) with: 'OMGOMGOMG i need money, everyone does, lets make a poll, we all need money, make paydays, make events BLABLA', which is 100% sure.
And yes, it would be nice to have a conversation with you.

As wayne say its not a matter to remove events. Or about the time before u make an event. Its more about to lower the win price. And i would like to agree those event prices should be lower.

Drib just few jobs i gonna tell you-Begin cop,Property Management,Also i got a car for free and sold it for 420k. :) im telling you i did

Events are the closest thing we have to a payday (which we need).
The admins don't agree with auto-payday, so we have events with high prizes.
A lot of the people who are rich have gotten rich by basically scamming people (but not bannably - just kinda screwing people over with bizz deals) - why not complain about them? :/

The official ALS DD is an event that happens one time a week, every week a winner is selected and wins a pretty big amount of cash. The DD we did on Saturday night was directed to the players who live in different time zones and cannot go to the ALS DD (it was done really late at night).

That is partly true, in real life such contests do not exist. However, take the DD as a lottery where you can actually change something - your ability to handle the car is what counts. Remember that players do not get this particular lottery ticket for free: they also spend their time getting cars, standing in lines to get into the destruction time and so on.

There is no balance in real life, some are poor and some are rich. Don't tell me that there aren't any people that are rich ingame but roleplay bums and ask for change.

What I'm trying to point out is that suspects pay 300$/600$ to the cops from their own money. Their own money can come from 10k$ starting cash, paydays, event money, etc..

The best job for me is.....driver :D I made above 50k from it..... but you have to play play play as a driver for long time if you want to gain much money.....its days when you can earn 10k day but days when you can earn 2k per day ! Depends on the customers ! :D

i DONT want to DD stop their ACTIVITIES
i just want LOWER the prizes and not STOP the event.
I agree DD must continue their normal activities BUT WITH LESS PRIZE MONEY.

Some people do, because they want to be the best and want to own the best things, fastest cars etc.
And yes, i think it's good that there are events, often hosted by MD Security (Advertise : D) and i think that the prizes shouldnt be lowered.
Everyone has got the same chances.
