umm... ive played SA before even on MP... but it doesnt work the actual game..... not MP MP is fine

Make sure you don't have Vice City running on the background also. I usually end up to a black screen in SA, if I have accidentally left VC minimized.

Either A. Close it, or B. Turn off the in-game chat option.
Its an openGL conflict or something along the lines of it :)
