Title: San Andreas not starting up
Post by: EliteTerm on November 19, 2008, 11:42:05 pm
For some reason, San Andreas has stopped working..

When I start up the game, All I'm seeing is white, then the intro comes on, apparently it's working, then it goes back to white screen, then when the menu comes on, all I'm seeing is BOXES, instead of words.

What the hell? I reinstalled twice, and I'm still having the damn problem. Any ideas? (( ENBSeries is not involved, it was removed before I reinstalled ))

try to install in a new clean folder . Not the old one where you already installed

I uninstalled, removed the San Andreas folder, and reinstalled.

I'm still getting this damn problem.

Yeah, I reinstalled the drivers yesterday, and it worked!  :D

later when I tweaked around on the settings, I found the problem.

Never turn off "Support DXT Textures".

Fixed and close, please  :)
