OFF-TOPIC: You might be thinking "WTF you already doing maps?" Answer: Yes.
ON-TOPIC:
So I'm learning how to do a Crysis map by this tutorial: This one (http://konakona.nbtxathcx.net/sb2/index.php)
I am at "Creating a new map" part.
Everything was fine, till the part of after Generating Terrain.
In his picture, it shows almost-flatten islands, but my generation is FULL of hills, praticly unreachable till a point. So I do my own terrain.
But when I do "Select texture dimensions", after that it says:
Now you should have some islands surrounded by water. ....................................... ....................
WTF? I don't have ANYTHING! The water, in my map, you can't see it, it's so low you can't see it. In that example it shows deep water, for me its like a tiny flood in a town. Screenie attached.
Maybe it's cuz I have custom graphic settings (High, medium, high, high, etc)? I need help here. this is a pain in the ass :hit:
Also, I get ALREADY texture of the ground, while in the tutorial doesn't (it keeps still white) :O

Lower / higher the landscape :)
Hope this helped...
Or there should be some water button, but im not sure.. Havent used it in some months soo...
Oh and wait... you need to do some things before it generates a nice terrain... try to search a tutorial... thats how I learned everything

Did u look basic things or just started to make something which u dont understand...
Better check basic tutorials about how to use menus etc. because sooner or later u will get some problem that u cannot solve, and u will need to get back on basic things..So I suggest u better start from the beginning because Crytek Sandbox isnt that easy even if it looks like that..
Btw. Sandbox is rly excellent thing, dont give up ;)
