Post by: joxtro_ayaz on November 28, 2008, 10:34:28 pm
well as the title says i recently got a Core2Duo and i installed it everything starts up turns out i needed to upgrade Bios so i did ((with Dual-Core))

So then i put my Core2Duo and well pc starts up fine windows loading screen and KAZAM it turns off...
Thought it might be Overheat i took the CPU ASAP touched it heat was normal.

Then i put back my Dual Core it starts up no problems at all.. Any suggestions ? ?

the problem isn't with windows the CPU just Closes sometimes b4 the loading screen... so i really don't think it's a windows reinstallation problem....

Its because Windows doesn't recognise the new CPU, the only way to fix this is Manually Download a Driver or Use your Old CPU to back everything up and reinstall Windows.

Suggested Solution is Reinstallation of OS

Are you sure that the cooler was working and touching the CPU ? They cool off pretty fast.
