Remove dust from your van and inside pc. Dont place your pc near the heater as it attracts dust.

To Omri, try and close Steam when you play MTA...

Improve ur RAM and Graphic Card

Processor.

MSN does take some usage. But it depends on your CPU. If its not too old it shouldnt be a problem.

And sorry Roel i dont know... Can you do Ctrl - Alt + Del and still close the game? Or does it completely freeze?

Disconnect all USB devices... External harddrives etc etc... And try again. Maybe your PC has a too low power supply... I dont know

Can you post your PC specs?

yep post your pc spec, i also want to know how much power does your power supply give..

Did you try to overclock

Do you have over 10% of your hard drive free of space? ( for 500gb ... 50gb )

Have you installed new drivers before it occured?

Have you installed anything before it occured?

Is your computer making new noises or less noises since it has occured?

Restart while playing = Heat or lack of power supply

Try to play without the sidepanel, it should reduce the temperature. If it still freezes, then its either super high temperature of its your PSU that is getting old. Also check if every cable is connected and if every fan is running like it should.

And post your pc specs!

With some types of BIOS, you can view thermal settings to determine if there are any problems with the CPU and the heat sink/fan assembly. Third-party software applications can report CPU temperature information in an easy to read format. Refer to the motherboard or CPU user documentation to determine if the chip is operating in the correct temperature range. Some CPU and case fans turn on and off automatically depending on the CPU temperature and the internal case temperature. The temperatures are measured through thermal probes built into the fan assembly, or internal circuitry in the CPU.

Meaning you should probably buy a new power supply that provides more power for all your PC components.

Start > Uitvoeren > type "cmd" > type "dxdiag"

Then note everything you need...
For the supply of our "Voeding" you probably have to look inside the PC.
