Well, on Wednesday, i was going to Argonath RPG, to make ARPD lesson, but after 10-30 mins:
Game mode restarting...
And can't access to server. I did /q, wait for 2 mins, then all other internet programs lost connection too.
Only thing what helps: restart to computer.
It worked correctly before, don't know when it started.
What can cause it?
-
when it happens ur home mobile rings? and then u lose connection?

when it happens ur home mobile rings? and then u lose connection?
You mean landline phone?
It doesn't matter.
I only lose connection, when playing SA:MP.
MTASA works, MTAVC works...
I use Windows XP, Windows Firewall, AVG 8 Free and GhostWall Security.
-
It does matter cos it happened to me too :D then i called an engineer
hmm Windows Firewall can cause the problem too
Check GhostWall Security and Windows Firewall, put SAMP in the trusted programs
or Google the problem
-
The problem started lately, but i have used these programs for months..
I will check these over.
-
right
-
I think i got fixed it.
Now i played about 1.5 hours, no problems(even no crash  :hurray:).
I closed some processes, i think some process was blocking it.
Anyway, topic can be locked!
-
nice i hope i helped!
( no asslicking :P )
-
Fixed, locked.
-
Unlocked as problem appeared again...
-
Correct.
Today, i joined Argonath RPG, to test if problem still appears...
and it did.
So i need more help with it.

Numerous things can shut off your internet.
First try to find this out:
Is your internet trying to reconnect or does it shut down? It might even be still online!
You can check so under Internect connections... Right click on your internet connection -> status...
When you have done that we should have a better view of what's happening.
-
I removed my GhostWall, looks like this was problem causer, but it wasn't.
Sometimes, if my SA:MP crashes, then i can use internet about...1-3 mins and then it sometimes loses.
Connection with router stays, doesn't disconnect.
Looks like now problem excists with MTA:SA too.
-
Update:
Now i lost my internet during surfing! But i got it fixed somehow, but i have feeling, that when i start SA:MP...same thing.
What is the problem causer, that closes that damn internet activity? Windows Firewall??
-
Buy a normal virus scanner and check your PC for spyware, adware, malware, trojans and worms.
Is your connection with the router wireless or wired?
Are you inside a network?

Its probably a problem with your ISP. I think...
-
I have AVG Free 8.0, when i last time tested, computer was clean.
But i will test today too.
Modem is SpeedTouch something...
Wireless router is Buffalo Airstatin G54....
Wireless "catcher" is TrendNet TEW-424UB.
Yep, inside network, 1 other computer uses WiFi too and 2 Digital TV boxes too.
-
AVG is Free, better buy a normal virus scanner.
Can you still ping to computers inside your network when internet falls out?
If no, check your cabling. If theres any other cable next to your utp cable then remove/replace it.
edit: Personally i hate Wireless... Cuz i think its unreliable and sometimes connection can just cut out...
I would wire the whole thing :p

If i lose my internet connection, then i can't ping even router, other computers i can't even with working connection.
Today, some IT-experts from Elion(my ISP) came to check over, cause we had some problems with internet.
Now we have internet working, will check SA:MP later. They changed some cables/filters and lot more.
Don't know all, i was at school when they were here.
