Title: [Tutorial] SA:MP Camhack
Post by: lavamike on December 27, 2008, 02:02:03 am: I see a lot of questions about camhack so I figured I would post a tutorial.

First of all I honestly have no idea why people get so confused about it.

So:

1. Download cam hack from below.

2. Unzip it anywhere you want.

3. Open "saCamHack.exe" and don't touch anything unless you know what you are doing.

4. After opening "saCamHack.exe", open "SetSeDebugPriv.bat"

5. Open SA:MP, Join a server.

- That's all, It works fine for me I don't know why people get so confused. Also, this is a Windows XP tutorial. I don't have Vista installed so if someone who has vista wants to post how to do it for vista than go ahead and post here.

Try to run them as administrator and see if that works. (Right click & click run as administrator or w.e it is)

Yes it does, i've used it with 0.2X, just follow the tutorial lol

Post by: David_Omid on May 03, 2009, 01:46:38 am: About Vista, I tried Camhack a while ago and it seemed to install etc...but when I went ingame and tried to use it or whatever, nothing happened...at all when I pressed keys

If anyone knows how to sort this please tell me in a forum PM as it's doubtful I'll see replies here

Edit: Fixed

But now..

When I start it (using vista) and run as Administrator and let it think I use Windows XP, the program won't response..

I think if you right click the shortcut you'll see a "compitibility" menu in there, open it and then active the menu Execute in compatibility mode with - Choose with XP SP2 and check if it works.

Try looking at your laptops manual. Usually there is a key or keys you have to press to turn on num lock and some letters should have little numbers next to them which when num lock is on instead of the letter coming on, the numbers do

Sometimes you need to use Fn

If you can't figure it out, open saCamhack.exe and click on Control Settings. Since most of the settigns use the num pad you should switch what you need to different keys.

After you are done hit "Save & Close" than close camhack and open it up like I explained in the first post

P.S: I don't know how to work it with vista as I only have Windows XP, sorry :p

Try updating your DirectX

Anyway, this is how you use it:
Open up saCamera hack, then PermEdit, scroll down a bit and mark "saCamhack", then "Grant Permissions", then join a server and press *.

Your idea actually didn't work as P sets to the default aspect ratio, which isn't a widescreen one. However, looking at the other keys, I discovered that there are keys to adjust the aspect ratio to your preference (apostrophe and semi column by default), so thanks! :D

You can't record movies with Camhack. You need to use another program like Fraps.
