Title: Problem
Post by: Andre93 on January 04, 2009, 10:50:16 am
so ok here is the problem...

for the maybe last 2-3 weeks ive been having problems with my internet

First it started with really slow internet or the internet pages didnt load at all. - to fix this problem i used to Disable my Local Area Connection and started it back up again - i used to do this every 2 damn pages - so the internet could load, or every 30 sec. - 1 min. This used to be for maybe for some period of time - at that time i still could have played SAMP without any connection problems or GameMode restarts, and my ping was normal and no lag. The slow internet sometimes dissapeared, and i could load my pages all fine and without any need of Disabling and Enableing my Local Area Connection. - that didnt seem of a big problem to me.

Then maybe like 4-3 days ago while playing SAMP my pc started to lag really hard ! I was maybe 10 time slower then the usual laggers, it was like my pc had a meltdown, and the internet wasnt loading at all, the whole pc was lagging, opening folders and other stuff took a long time for the pc to do. - This thing can be from 10 mins - and last up to 30mins. - then its all back up fine again.

As my friend told me this is maybe the problem in my Internet Card and not the internet provider, or could this be because of my mother board ?

So any advice on how to fix up this problem ???

Thx - Andriuha ;]

And as i see in my Local Area Connection window in Activity i see that im recieving a really low number of packets

Hey Andriuha,

I don't think your motherboard is involved in this, I think i asked this before, but are you connected wireless or with Wire to the internet? If wireless, i strongly advise you to get a Cable to connect to the wired internet...

If you still have this connection problem, It might be your modem neither router that has the problem.. Is that computer your on the only computer in the house?
