If possible, prefer to use WPA2 instead of WEP as WPA2 is alot more secure and faster.

:ps: And to make sure your router is operating as good as possible, I recommend to check that you have the latest firmware installed on it.
The latest firmware can be found here: http://kbserver.netgear.com/release_notes/d103087.asp (http://kbserver.netgear.com/release_notes/d103087.asp)

Okay i've got the following hardware:

EUMEX 300IP -> Dataswitch -> NETGEAR WG6002v3

The problem is that i cant connect to the Netgear to configure it. That means i cant connect to the default ip to set up a WEP-password.
Please i need it fast ^^ When anyone have good ideas pls let me know!

Greetz, Tai

Connect it with a cable first?

Why do you got the switch between the modem (?) and the router BTW?
