I'm unable to delete any mods, I downloaded a mod package that changes some skins and some weapons, I installed these with SAMI.
I have tried re-installing and this uninstaller called Revo Uninstaller that says it removes all traces of the program to be uninstalled.

Remove gta_sa.set from GTA San Andreas User Files folder in My Documents.
(gta_vc.set from GTA Vice City User Files folder in My Documents)

By uninstall SA:MP, you mean unstill GTA SA? I uninstalled SA:MP, then re-installed it, that didn't work, I'll try doing that with GTA SA in the morning, off to bed now.
And, thanks Flameman :D

Okey, I just did what you said Flameman, I uninstalled SAMP & GTA SA, re-installed them both, tried it, didn't work

1. Uninstall SA:MP (with Add/remove software in Control Panel)
2. Remove GTA_SA.set file
3. INSTALL SA:MP
4. Run Single Player and configure all desktop settings
5. Run SA:MP
I had the same when i changed desktop from 17' to wide 19' and my resolution changed to wide one.

Have you tried to force the game into starting? I had the same problem and I forced the game and then it worked as normal. You just right click on the .exe and choose "Run as". Hope it will solve your problems.

Hmm.. I think it is because I have some mods installed, I have tried re-installing GTA SA but I still cannot remove my mods.. :|

Ok, uninstall GTA SA and then goto
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games
and delete the folder called " GTA San Andreas, then reinstall the game

Nevermind guys, I fixed it by uninstalling it by SAMI (I had deleted it earlier, re-installed to see if I could do it)
