Shutdown of games can be caused by a few things :

- Weak Power Supply
- Overheating

- [RARE] Device Drivers out of date.

What kind on power supply you have (Min. Advised W. : 420W )
-

Install a program to monitor your current Computer temperature. Speedfan might do good.
When your playing, Go out of game and check on the temperatures of mainly the HDD, CPU or RAM if provided.
If a yellow 'flame' gets displayed before the temperature, then you probably have a overheating problem.
You can also try to get one of the sidecovers off the case so it gets more fresh air.

If the device drivers are out of date,  lookup the model of your graphics card and go to one of the website's below (depending on what card you have )

www.game.amd.com

www.nvidia.com

Good luck, i hope this might get in handy  ;)

huh?
I played SWAT 4.. finished it.. no freezes, no shutdowns..
Once a time happened a shutdown at SA
RE4 does never shut down or giant freeze
But.. weak games such as Combat arms and CS 1.6 freezes my computer.. why?

Propably CS require more power... that your pc is not able to give.... so as result it shut downs....

If you use Rivatuner, you don't need to go out of game as it has the possibility of an in game overlays.

Yeah as the other said: Your computer isn't producing enough power to supplie the games. I recommend that you change your processor or your whole computer. If your computer shuts down then its something of the following:

- Overheating

- Not enough memory

- Something is stuck in your fans (Try cleaning your computer fans atleast 1 time at a month, if you have it on the floor then try cleaning it more often).

Or something else. Hope this helped  :)
