Protectors of Vice

The Argonath RPG Police Department (ARPD) is an organized police group of highly trained and professional RPG police officers.
The objective of the ARPD is to improve the police work and co-operation of the cops playing on Argonath RPG GTA servers.
Argonath RPG Police Department operates in Vice City (MTA:VC & VC:MP) and the state of San Andreas (SA:MP).

The ARPD's Vice City Police Department operates on Argonath RPG VC:MP server, and it consists of three divisions:

Vice City Police Department Operation Division (VCPD)
Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT)
Vice City Investigation Department (VCID)

Actually it was CopSforza and [R*]ber who took first steps of VC:MP division... Even though, yes, me and Snake, also ber, made the most of the development until it reaches what it is now.

Extract the files provided by Eagle to any place you want
Download IMGTool (I dont think i can give link here :S)
Open IMGtool, open file gta3.img with IMGtool (Located in 'Models' Folder in your GTAVC directory)
press F2 (Search)
Put in "police" as the field
remove the "police.txd" and "police.dff" files using IMGtool
Add the new "police.txd" and "police.dff" files from the folder where you extracted them.

Enjoy!

Little update - the FBI in Vice City is no longer operational.

We have replaced it with the Vice City Investigation Department, a sub division of the department like SWAT.

Our belief is that the ex FBI members will be able to do investigation work and the usual patrol roleplay whenever they wish. The command staff of VC:MP ARPD has also concluded the existance of FBI is un necessary in Vice City, since the entire are we're situated in is under coverage of VCPD, otherwords there are no other cities or counties like in San Andreas.

The VCID is under command of Chief Detective Fabio, whom will also occupy a place in VCPD's leadership.

Another announcement - as soon as the server scripts reach stability status, the senior staff will launch a recruitment campaign. The restrictions for recruitment will be abolished, and anyone can apply. Furthermore, current and future officers will receive a stable salary funded by the Argonath Government.

Adding to what the Deputy Chief has said, the newly formed Vice City Investigation Department (VCID) with its VCPD Detectives will undertake similar operations of which F.B.I. used to do, however some of the tactics or system of the VCID will be different then what F.B.I. was like.

Also, the VCID is intergrated into the VCPD now, it is a department of the VCPD now, so that means that VCID ranks such as Chief Detective and Detective are all part of the VCPD ranks now and will be named under the VCPD system.

VCPD Officers who wish to know more about the re-form can check the ARPD forum for more information.

CopSforza ( now Alex_Montana) was sharing with me today in hes memories about old times in mta pd. Wow he was 2nd best cop. Its sad that he plays samp more than vcmp. It was him who invited me to argonath vcmp, but he left me alone  :bye:

Official Announcement

The command staff of the VCPD have decided to suspend recruitment for a period of time so that the VCPD is able to re-organize behind the scenes. This means all current applicants will be on hold and all cadets won't be able progress on to becoming a full officer until this period is over.

I would also like to announce that Deputy Chief JayL has been promoted to Chief following the resignation of former Chief Snake.

VCPD will be trying its best to get things re-organized as soon as possible but we are not putting any time frame on this.
