Ok well.. ive been playing some new games i got, and ive been wondering why my performance has suddenly dropped completely so i checked in Everest and its telling me BOTH my CPU Cores are running @ 2Ghz when the origional is actually 3Ghz, and the CPU Multiplier is also running @ 6x when the origional is 9x

Anyone know what the issue is here?? since sometimes it jumps to 3Ghz which is proper and 9x CPU Multiplier, then most of the time it says 2Ghz and 6x CPU Multiplier.
Heres my PC Specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo E8400 3Ghz
Motherboard: Gigabyte G31M-S2L
Ram: 2Gb (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
PSU: Gigabyte GE-R460-V1 Superb Power 460W

Looks like It cant get enough power, I think the CPU voltage should be around 1,3V not 1V, and also, have you checked temps?
-
BTW im running a:
XFX Nvidia 9600GT 512Mb GDDR3 graphics card incase that means something...
ive been running this full rig for over 1 year without a problem...
heres the system temps:

Hmm, Okey the temps look ok, but I am not sure about that voltage, cause I have seen lots of CPU's with 1,3V not 'round 1V :trust:
-
well that +2.5 V which is at 1.94 V .. someone told me thats because my PSU is probably going to die :wow: ive only had it a year now
-
hmm.. i changed some BOIS power settings to NORMAL and now the +2.5 V is running @ 2.13 V

Problem solved...
Solution:
Throw computer out of a 3rd floor window and nothing works...

Please tell the solution, so if anyone else haves this problem.

not count?? lol..
Its a Intel set thing, the newer series have power saving BOIS setting which Decrease the CPU clock and use less electricity, when the CPU usage is lower to save power and increase CPU life by keeping the CPU clock low when not needed to be at full power... :rules:
