These events will air every Sunday night and in some other days too! The location and hour of the event will be announce in-game!

- Car: every car is allowed, ramming is allowed, offroad depends on the map, Nitro is not allowed.
- On foot: Jumping is allowed, hitting is not allowed, offroad is allowed, Skater Skinn is not allowed.
- Swimming: Diving is allowed.
- General: Weapons are not allowed, Disqualification when one of those rules are broken.

This DD can be held at SF's and LV's golfcourses. Also, they can be made elsewhere, but this requires a lot of TP's.

Rules of the event are:
- Do not exit your Caddy
- Other cars than Caddy's are not allowed
- Fall off the edges/in the water = OUT (only for SF)
- Go higher or lower than main platform = OUT (only for SF)
- Leaving the DD area = OUT (Mostly for LV, but also for SF)
- Do not fire any gun
- No passengers

What is the game about?
Get a car, fly over the packer and win!

- All cars are allowed.
- Bikes or quads are not allowed.
- You need to be FULLY over if you want to win.

What is the game about?
- All participating teams (PTs) will have to visit certain amount checkpoints, depending on how many Event Team (ET) members we got available at that moment.
- All PTs should try to register themselves for the event on the forums before the start. This will lessen our workload a lot.
- All participators will be in teams of 2 people. Grab a friend, a car, fill it up with gas, set on some good music and get rollin'!
- ET members will be spread all around the San Andreas. They will be given specific locations, where they will stand aka checkpoints!
- ETs will note down every PT, who visited that checkpoint. Organizers will then review all the checkpoints, check all the teams and eventually announce the winners (usually the next day).
- Once the start is given, all participators will be given the IDs of the Event Team members. They can use /area ID or any other possibilites to find the checkpoints.
- Once you have visited enough checkpoints, head for the finish! The time will be recorded.
- The route is up to the PTs, use all shortcuts, any vehicles you can find! Time matters!
Rules of the event are:
- Bribing checkpoints - If you get caught for offering, you are disqualified!
- Shooting other teams is forbidden, that will be regarded as deathmatching and will result in disqualification (and admin punishment).

The event was canceled beacuse some hackers carjacked Aimzz heli.... and he heli-killed , destroyed all the vehicles..... and that thing happened three times in a row...so i decide to cancel it..... But the event will go on this night :D

Sorry guys but this event is Canceled again !!
Reason : RS3 its closed due to the RS4 trial , and every user got only 25k in hand and 0$ in bank !
So if we give any money prize it will be useless because when the the RS4 will be official , all the money from you're RS3 account will be transfered RS4 so its no profit for any winner !
The White Shadows will return when the RS3 re-opens or when the RS4 comes official !

We dont have an exact date \ time for the events , we do events allmost everyday (( when im not busy , and when i got some staff members for help :lol: )) usually we organise the events at 20:00 - 22:00 server time :)

Sorry , i tryed to bring something new in argonath events and i failed ...... the main thing is because the event its very hard to organise it .... you need to have lot of staff members an airplanes to be ready ... and if you want this event to succeed you have then all has to be perfect .....

Today we organized a White Shadows Destruction Derby! Which took place at the LS pier, after the techical problems.
Results:
1st Price was given to: Cofi_Gvardia! (100k)
2nd Price was given to: Andy_Gvardia! (50k)
But, there were some problems, because the server crashed 1 time + the DD arena in LV was out of stock :( So we had to move to an other place, which took us quiet along time. But, alot of thanks to gimli to load the LS pier scripts, otherwise we could have never done this! Thank you very much gimli! :D So, everything went fine after all. Apart from some stress. Also i would like to thank ALS for their great help, and the WS Help for their great motivation! Thank you very much!

I dont know if WS is taking some event suggestions, but how about you guys do like a roadtrain drag racing event. Basically get a straight stretch of highway that is 2 lanes wide and do a drag racing event with the roadtrains. The event can be made by doing brackets, and getting all the way down to the final 2 who will do the final race. I would host this event but im a poor player so I cant afford to give out prizes. But I think this would be a pretty cool event. Sorry if im not suppose to post this in this thread but I think this is the most organized group for events. If you decide to do this and have any questions you can send me a PM. Hope to hear from you!

That may be a decent idea. By roadtrains, you mean the trams, am I right? I don't know how they do offroad, but it is up to the White Shadows Event Team. I mean, feel free to do it yourself. By the way, WS is a clan and this is just the SA's list of WS events. I guess if you want to run a WS event, it may require you to be a White Shadows clan member. It's really up to the WS Events Team. I'm sure you can ask them.

I can see this working, just a matter of if it is too similar to other existing events.

The only event I can think of that it is close to is the IRL. But that is circuit racing this is drag racing. So I guess its not really the same thing. Plus you can only use a roadtrain in this event..

ElMartu may have a point there. If the event is limited to a certain number if entrants, there may have to be a quick event application before each race, and then again, it may not be reserved as rest of the server may want to use the roadtrains as well.

Yep, that might work and there are usually quite a few admins on at any one time in SA:MP. Just have to make sure there's a Level 5/6 Admin on.

A wonderfull race, the competitors has showed they're driving skills and they did a fantastic job in trying to prevent the car falling of the roof and race at the same time.... The race was not avoided from incidents, many cars has fall of the roof .... But fortunately no driver was harmed

happend at the entrace in the stadium... All competitors was inside waiting for the start, and the arena went out of stock leaving the staff team outside the arena . But the problem was fixed quickly and the

Jump the Packer event!
The event was hosted in around Los Santos
On Halloween night, [WS] did a simple event but which was a lot of fun! The task was to drive over a Packer, which was cruising around in the LS area! Each succesfull jump would earn you 2,500$. Around twenty people jumped, of which 8 successfully did it, and received money!

The packer is running around Los Santos, all you have to do, is to jump over the packer and if the jump is good, you will recevie a small prize, if the jump is bad, then you can try to do it all over again. A new event has come to the city of San Andreas. A few old men gathered around and came up with a new kind of racing for our beloved city. After evenings thinking, talking and contacting other city's Kart leagues, they managed to get the National Karting league tracks to the city of San Andreas.
Explanation:
Every week there will be a new track available. This track will be raced only once, and under supervision of [WS] members. This event will be done in seasons. One season is 6 weeks - Which means there are 6 tracks each season! The event has been made up for people who want to challenge others and race for fun. To enforce this, we will not allow anyone playing for the cash, or moan about the results of the race!
When you win a race, you get 1 point. The best driver can win 6 points in a season. When you have the most points at the end of the season, you get the season-win bonus.
Rules:- No other vehicles than Karts. You must own your own Kart
- Players who play for the money, will not be accepted into the race
- Players who moan about the results of the race will be kicked from the league
- No weapons allowed in the event
- No shortcuts allowed
- Maturity required
- You know the course of the racing track. Leaving the set track (without returning to it, at the same point you left it) will lead to disqualification

Season 1:
Race track 1 - Location: Idlewood - Type: Circuit
The first track of the series. It's a track with a lot of corners and a small jump (going up a sidewalk) which can make you spin out. Another difficulty is a sharp corner on which you can crash easily. Competitors will race this track 3 laps.

Race track 2 - Location: Fort Carson - Type: Stretch
The second track of the series. This track contains a relatively large straight piece. This is done to gain some speed. The track contains multiple sharp and hard to make corners, but no bumps or jumps.

Racing types:
In the racing event there will be three kinds or racing, of which one is only used under special circumstances.
1) Stretch: This is a race from point A to point B. It will be only one lap.
2) Circuit: This race will go from the start to the start. It will not be one lap, but it will be more. This depends on the length of the track set by the organisation.
3) Mirror: This is either a Stretch or Circuit track, done in reversed way. This is only done when a track is used two times, because a new track is closed due roadworks or any other reason. Organisation can also do a rematch, when two competitors finish with the same time. Then the two competitors race against each other, using the same track in the diffirent direction. When two competitors end with the same amount of points at the end of a season, the organisation can chose a track and race it in the other direction. The winner of that race wins the season.

I don't think roleplay clans, groups, positions should have much to do with Argonath Administration duties when talking about volunteer members of the A-Teams.
For private events (lack of a more suitable term; those not held by Admins/the community in general), the hosts would have full control over the rules, provided they didn't cross server and general community bounds and did not directly disrupt other people's activities.
If some kind of "scamming/cheating" was going on amongst the hosts, then perhaps people wouldn't attend their events, or in serious cases where Argonath rules are stretched Admins could get involved.
Annnnywayyy, the treasure hunt when it gets underway should be something new and unique, hopefully. :)

1) I know very good whats Server lag and whats ESC abuse (One of the winners..after DD told me that he did ESC Abuse very much)
2) I didn't nescar i was hitting with lag ram (U should make difference between nescar and Lag Ram)

I do not see any reason why you're thinking in such way about us.
The White Shadows do not, in any way, recieve benefit by kicking or banning 'the most honest' competitor from Argonath for fun. If this person was banned or kicked, then it is not the administration that should be to blame.
Our members do not bully anyone nor give disadvantages for no particular reason to someone, this has never happened in our lifespan of 5 years and it will never do.
So to come back to your statement, I don't think you should involve yourself in cases that you are not fully aware of. Picking one side is the usual way of problematic endings.

Howdy folks!
It's been a long time since someone posted something here. Well, let me help get this section alive again!
Allow me to present you...
White Shadows Treasure Hunt
That's right! We hide, you find! The faster, the better!
So how this will work? Very simple.
* All participators will be in teams of 2 people. Grab a friend, a car, fill it up with gas, set on some good music and get rollin'!
* All participating teams (PT) should try to register themselves for the event on the forums before the start. This will lessen our workload a lot. :)
* Event Team (ET) members will be spread all around the San Andreas. They will be given specific locations, where they will stand aka checkpoints!
* Once the start is given, all participators will be given the IDs of the Event Team members. They can use /area ID or any other possibilites to find the checkpoints.
* All PTs will have to visit certain amount checkpoints, depending on how many ETs we got available at that moment.
* The route is up to the PTs, use all shortcuts, any vehicles you can find! Time matters!
* Once you have visited enough checkpoints, head for the finish! The time will be recorded.
* ETs will note down every PT, who visited that checkpoint. Organizers will then review all the checkpoints, check all the teams and eventually announce the winners (usually the next day).
Sounds easy. But there are, of course, some rules, that must be followed:
* Shooting other teams is forbidden, that will be regarded as deathmatching and will result in disqualification (and admin punishment).
* Bribing checkpoints - If you get caught for offering, you are disqualified!

Of course, the fastest (and all checkpoints passed) teams will get some lovely prizes!

Checkpoints will be event team members, standing at specific locations. All locations can be accessed with a car and/or on foot (maybe a small distance run, not long). :)

Each participating team consists of 2 players. We believe this is the fair amount, one can inform about the location, other one focuses on driving.
We will not limit you from having more than 2 people, though make sure they don't get bored :P
The 2 team members have to be in one vehicle. (1 vehicle = 1 team) Of course, you can get more people and more vehicles and apply with multiple teams. :)

The first event of ...
White Shadows Treasure Hunt
was successful!
We had total of 14 teams participating, that's 28 players! This means a good start!
The first event of the Treasure Hunt series started out with 4 checkpoints, 3 in LS and 1 in Dillimore.
So first, I would like to thank the volunteers that they agreed to help out! Without them, this could not have happened!

Our prize fund started out with 200 000 dollars. Thanks to the donators, this fund raised to 500 000 dollars! Allow me thank the donators:

The final prizes are as following (split half to both team members):

We generally make events ingame without planning, but we'll make more planned ones if that's the case.

You don't need to plan ahead, but if you could post some screenshots after the event is concluded it'll be pleasant enough. Though, planning ahead and letting the community know here, will grant you a bigger participation rate.

So, White Shadows members managed to lose their bus twice today. With the help of Justin, who won 5k, and [GSF]Fuzzy, who won a coloured license plate (sponsored by [Rstar]Rusty), we recovered the bus both times.
Unfortunately, a briefcase had gone missing from the bus. (god damn Mexicans must have stolen it). We knew, that it was hidden in Bone County. Luckily, Luke found it in the Bone County cave and we let him keep the money (WS folks were too lazy to bother searching for it, so we left it for others).

We had a nice race today. Started at Fort Carson, headed to the top of Mount Chiliad to see some nice weather and landscape and drive back to Fort Carson. 1st place was taken by Denis Pro, 2nd place was reserved by Nexus Riggs and third was [GSF]Fuzzy.

Tovenaarke organized a Team Destruction Derby today in the sewers at Willowfield, Los Santos. Two teams of 7 players, pink and yellow, were made, cars painted and the rock'n'roll started!
