We have such safety, to ensure that the poor artists get thier money (media companys).
At sweden, we have the chinese culture, wich consists of censuring criminals (People of sweden) to prevent anything bad from happening (Revolution).

It's not china though... far from it... in Sweden we have something named "tystnadsplikt" meaning no matter how fucking poor our country is, no matter how fucked up everything is... We are not allowed to say so. This was something I realized aaaaages ago, when I was about 12 years old I was on the radio, anonemously though, and I talked about this... And well things have gotten even worse with the "Moderaterna" then it was back when we had a "Social" party running the show.
And tbh, the fact that both me and Gird3r agrees on something ought to be proof enough...

Well, I guess.. But then I'm not really into Swedish politics and I'm not ashamed of my country..
I'm more pissed of our "commune", "township" or whatever it's called. Before christmas our school couldn't even buy in pencils for the students but yet in still they recieved a like 30,000kr reward (for something I do not know). They spent it all on one of those massagechairs for the teachers and a fucking flag, lol.
I do not know about or schools in other countries but we can't write in classbooks because the next 20 classes shall have them in the future, like the previous 20 classes had to give up the ones we have now. That is one fucked up sentance, but meh.. Several pages missing, nazi signs and stuff like that, you know? I get more pissed when I read about schools up in Värmland that buys a laptop to every student and stuff lololo

Some things in Sweden are nice, but I actually wanna move from here, to the US or something. Maybe Sweden is better in some ways, and US in other ways, but I'm starting to get pretty bored here actually..
And I don't know much about politics, (even though I just worked with politics in school :P) but ''Moderaterna'' seems to suck big time. And what tiderman said, the ''commune'' or ''township'' kinda sucks too. That we can't write in exercise books in school 'cos other classes gonna have it after us, and that it's f**king signs and shit in it, and pages missing, it's f**king annoying and not good.

The police; In USA(at least from what I've seen from "COPS"), the polices tells in the megaphone: "Get down on your stomach, course your ancles!" And...if the person do, the cops still jumps on the man and acts very aggressive. In Sweden, there's no use of megaphone and uh...the police aren't like the police in America. In Sweden, if you show bad attitude, usually you get a punch in the stomach and gets thrown in the backseat.
The courts/trials doesn't just take one day, it can even take up to a year, months, weeks.
The nature/culture; Sweden is very thiny if you look at Japan for example, which is big like a continent, but it's "very" big country even that it's nothing againt Japan, so it's a bid hard to say that whole Sweden is perfect. But there's a lot of parts that is beautiful, like Dalarna for example, of course it got it's bad place to, but let's say 64% of Dalarna is beautiful, 26% is a mess and 10% is both. And in Sweden, let's say it's 50/50. Depends on where you are.
As I got some months till I even reached the age 15, I don't know to much about the economy strikes and that things at the moment. I'm not very interested in politics/policy either...so I can't answer very much of how fair they are to other peoples. But it seems from outside that it isn't a very big mess.
In Sweden there's a lot of forests, lakes, seas, if you search on 'Sweden' on the pictureoption on Google, you'll see lakes, beautiful summer, birds, old grannies and stuffs, but it isn't like that at all, it depends on where you live, where you are and when it is.
It's very hard if you're comparing to USA. USA got all the shops plus more than Sweden got and so on...but if you're once born here and raised at least till you're...7, I'm pretty sure you don't want to move out, depends on what situation you're on.

*Put the Pirateparty on charge, give them a try. If they can't handle it keep choosing until we find the least fucked up party.
*Celebrate.

The point is, that every political party earns their votes by saying one thing, and then doing the opposite. That's the way politics work.
For example,
In the summer of 2006, when there would be a political election of all the parties in Sweden, Moderaterna, which is on the right side, blue, said that they would lower the tax for gasoline, diesel and the other fuels. However, when they won the election, one of the first thing they did was to raise the tax for gasoline and diesel, and instead they removed the tax for "fortunes". Before, if you had more than 3,000,000 Swedish Kronor, you would have to pay a tax for having that much money. They removed this tax and instead they raised the tax on gasoline and diesel to even it out.
The Swedish political system includes (now) seven parties in the parliament. To get into the parliament after a party election every fourth year, each party need atleast 4 percent of the votes. There are two different sides: Vänsterblocket, the left/red side, where Socialdemokraterna, Vänsterpartiet and Miljöpartiet is together, and Alliansen, the Alliance between the four parties on the right/blue side, which includes Moderaterna, Folkpartiet, Centerpartiet and Kristdemokraterna. At the moment, the Alliance is the ones that won the last election, so they are the ones that put their people in the government.
There is alot of different parties in Sweden. One party, which might get into the parliament next year, is Sverigedemokraterna, or the Swedish Democrats. Their opinion is to restrict the immigrations to Sweden. They are not racists, they just uphold that immigration is bad for the country. Last election, they got about 2,5% of the votes, so they didn't get into the parliament. However, according to recent public opinion surveys, they are above the 4 percent limit, so they WOULD get into the parliament IF an election would be held right now. But, the other parties dislikes SD. So, they want to raise the 4 percent limit for getting into the parliament. This is to exclude an eventual possibility for SD to get into the parliament.
This is an excellent example for how the democracy is manipulated by the bigger parties, so that they can keep on doing whatever they want without risking that smaller parties having any power what so ever.
Though, changing the 4 percent limit will take more than four years of time, so the next election, in 2010, they most probably will get into the parliament anyway, and preventing an eventaul raising of the 4 percent limit.

I'm not a racist, but after living in Gothenburg for my whole life. It's barely not Sweden anymore..
It's like Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Thailand, Turkey, Morrocco and Israel.
It's the same in Malmö, Stockholm and the rest of the big cities in Sweden.
Sweden should not take in anymore immigrants.
Seriously, they can barely make every swede live a good life because they're out of money and resources etc. Why take in like 1000 more immigrants then?
Look at Finland etc, wonderful example.

But an example of this with the immigrants that it's not like Sweden anymore: I've been playing soccer for like 7 years (just quit), and the whole team were immigrants, it was Me and my friend who were Swedish. So like.. 20 people from Turkey, 5 from other countries and 2 from Sweden..

Norway being the "richest" country, is somewhat correct, you got paid a lot more for jobs but values of stuff are higher, no matter where you go everything will be around the same value unless it's got huge tax on it, and you're right Norway does seem awesome, I'd love to go there one day :)

hmm this is happening in the UK aswell, mainly London (where I'm from) we have all of those above "Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Thailand, Turkey, Morrocco and Israel." more than white people, I'm not racist at all, nothing against other races at all, but it's true, since they allowed all this there's so much more crime -.- down here you hardly get robbed by white people, everytime I've been robbed it wasn't by white people at all, you can't even go down the shops anymore without coming across trouble. Anyways, don't be offended by this post, i ain't racist, i don't have a problem with other races living here or what ever, but the immigration rate has caused so many people to loose jobs and find it hard to get a new one, currently it's like impossible here -.-
