The story:
The Stracci Family has long been recognised as one of the most powerful La Costra Nostra families since the turn of the twentieth century. All of the members that belong to The Stracci Family have and continue to have Italian heritage. The story of the Stracci Family and where and how it originated is well known amongst members. The information that the federal government been able to find is mentioned below.
Enzo Stracci emmigrated to Los Santos during the 1920's, unlike most Italian Emigrants he was never involved in any criminal activities. Soon after Enzo gave birth to a son, little did his father know that his new born son would be the Boss of one of the most powerful and ruthless Mafias that the State of Los Santos had ever seen.
Enzo's son was working as an apprentice for his fathers Barber shop 'Morellos', he didn't know how to cut hair so he mostly brushing the floors and making cappucinos for the customers. The Stracci Family were a quiet family at this stage and were not a criminal organisation but a family like any other, and although they were not exacty friendly with the law, they upheld it.
The son resented the fact that he was earning a few bucks a week but some of his friends that he hanged out with walked about with hundreds of dollers in their pockets from Jacking merchandize trucks and selling the goods to local Gas Stations. The son knew about the mafia from the storys that his father used to tell him, although throughout his father Enzos stories he always tried to make the mafia look like thugs who gave working class people a hard time. But the son knew different, he listened intently to his father Enzos storys and always knew that there was a certain Glamour in the mafia, there was pride and respect and among other things; Wealth. The son wanted that wealth more than anything.
One day while Enzos was cutting Jimmy O' Neils hair and his son was brushing the floor two men in Silk Italian suits came in through the front door. One of the men grabbed Enzo by the hair and threw him on the ground. His son attempted to stop the guys but one of them was holding him back and pinning him to the floor. The man that had floored Enzo beat him repeatedly untill the blood seeped through the flooboards, the son watched in horror as his father was murdered in front of him. The man in the silk suit who was called "Vinny 'the butcher' Collozzo" then aimed a gun at the son and asked him why he tried to stop them attacking the man, the son just mumbled "I don't know", Vinny asked the son if he was related to Enzo, the son lied and answered "No". Vinny lifted the son up and said; "Well from now on, you work for us now, and it will stay that way untill you pay off your bosses dept."
The son started working for Vinny and paying him weekly, he jacked trucks, dealt drugs, and collected the protection money from the shops that Vinny controlled. The son got what he wished for, he was working for the mafia and he liked it, but he never forgot about Vinny killing his father. Vinny realised that the son was good earner so he invited him into his Family, he trusted him now and he had never suspected that it was the son's father he had killed all those years ago. The son had been waiting for this, he had been working for Vinny for 5 years and he had learnt everything he wanted, he had learnt all that there was to know about the Mafia and how it operated. He knew that if anything ever happened to Vinny he could take over and he would know exactly what to do and what protection racket to pick up. The son knew Vinny was due to visit the Barbers to get a haircut soon so he waited and staked out the shop untill that time. When he saw Vinny entering and taking a seat he walked through the door. The son pulled out a plastic bag and suffocated Vinny to death while he was sitting on the chair, still struggling for air. He put Vinnys body in his trunk and then dumped the car in the ocean near Verona beach. The son was the new boss now and he had big things planned.

The son invited his cousins over from Naples and eliminated the rest of Vinnys Family. He then initiated his cousins as members following conducting the ceremony in which his father told him about. In order to establish themselves as a respetced family they followed Mafia traditions and established links with their Hometown in Naples, Italy.
Shortly after the family bought a mansion there and created a headquarters. The street beside it where they conducted most of their business was known as Stracci Boulevard. From their they ran operations such as Protection Rackets, Prostitution, Gambling, Arms dealing and it contributed a great deal to the wealth that Stracci Family members have today. The money started coming in big time for The Stracci Family and they were able to expand their Empire across the entire State of not just Los Santos but also to San Fierro and Las Venturas.

The Boss:
NitrOx_Stracci
This is the highest rank, there can only be one Don, He has the biggest power of all he cannot be touched and must be treated with great respect. He is not to be left alone while on duty as Stracci for example a business trip, He must always be accompinied by a member of Stracci Family. Only the Don decides whether a member of the stracci family is fit to be made a 'made man' to be a made man means that you are untouchable and cannot be shot and if a family wishes to do so much consult to you first.
The Underboss:
Ints_Stracci, Yugo_Stracci, Victor_Stracci
This is the rank just under the godfather, There can be more than one righthand, these people are made men and cannot be touched unless there is a meeting between the family's. They have a big role in the drugs industry and call the shots when it comes to narcotics.They also handle allieship.
The Consiglieres:

Consigliere (or councillor) is an important position in a crime family.The Consiglieres watch over Capo's works, lead all Ranks lower then they are and they report their actions to the Godfather or the Right Hand. They also handle the law in the family and as a consultant their opinions are valued very highly on what to do in a crisis or investment.

The Capos Control the "muscle" of the family, they lead the "bye bye part" of the mafia business, they don't take shit and are definitely not afraid to get their hands dirty.

The trials are the new guys on the street. They earn money whatever way they can, breaking into pensioners homes, taxing the gardeners, nothing is below them. The trials need to be eager to learn from the members of Stracci and must obey them at all time or any hope of them getting in is lost, they have this one chance to be a part of this powerful Family and they can't mess it up. The Trials need to be their best at everything because they are always being watched and their behaviour and ability to obey the rules is always monitored.
