Well, one day i downloaded a Driver for my Nvidia GeForce FX5700LE in my Windows XP Pro... After a week i though of installing it. So i double clicked it and when it was ready to install... it crashed ! so i restarted it and my monitors resolution went to 4bits (and the graphics were SHIT, COMPLETELY SHIT). i thought that i could just reset it. so i right clicked on deskto, went to properties, seting and make it 1024x768 @ 16bits and i pushed the Apply button. it took a while when the PC reseted it and they were still @ 4 bits ! and this shit one me crazy. so... HELP !!!!

Unistall the drivers and use the ones which you had before. :>
-
The thing is that i dont know where are these drivers installed at and even if i already had one ...
-
this is simple.. go uninstall ALL your graphics drivers, reboot, then reinstall the new drivers, the problem you got is drivers conflicting with eachother,,,
-
ok, uh... how do i unistall them anyway ??? (tell me position of the drivers)
-
rofl... goto control pannel and then add/remove programs... then look for nVidia ....(( blah blah blah )) and uninstall it
-
i cant find ANYTHING for Nvidia... i think that i didnt install it after all... but hw can i explain the monitors crash ?
-
Try to install it again.

Right click on Own Computer icon -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Display Drivers -> Doubleclick on the card's name -> Driver -> "Roll back driver"
Try if that works. :)
EDIT: Or All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore (if the upper one didn't work)
-
Dude, none of these are working :(
-
Go to local Computer store and ask them to check if the Motherboard or Graphic card is broken, if not, format you Hard-drive and re-install Windows & Drivers
-
WTF ? ill damage my PC and besides my fathher will kill me because i have some of his informatio too

Do what I did when my older PC broke with all important stuff on the hard drive.
1. Open your case.
2. Take all the wires of the HDD off (power cable and SATA/IDE)
3. Go to another desktop computer, or your friend with the HDD, and add it to the other PC. (not as main HDD, but as secondary)
4. Start the PC, go to Own Computer, right click the HDD icon (not some random folder, a drive in Own Computer), select properties -> Sharing and move the HDD into sharemode or something. (so you can copy and move files from there to be burned to DVD)
5. Burn all the important information to DVD's.
6. Go home, format your HDD and install fresh Windows.
7. After all good drivers and such, copy the important things back.
