That was the first video of Argonath SA:MP server after it've been opened...

So...

To all those "argonath was a way better", or those "omg a lot of dmers!" or to those "when argonath became be official it sucks"...

I wanna introduce to you this video, which shows the start of Argonath, made by one of the first Argonath RPG admins...
This is also the lesson for current Argonath admins to see which times Argonath A-team passed to bring the server to the good organized and protected server...

And I hope those who are moaning about Argonath administration or its developers - they will have some respect to A-team and Developers by watching this movie and understanding what we passed...

Well in those old days lots of dmers choose to spawn as cop(lspd) so admins just camped that spot so its easier to spot... dmers spawning at ganton had to drive a bit, but dmers at lspd were top priority...

Add-on this was the start of Argonath's SAMP server, though in MTA:VC there was pretty much the same situation at first.

Bring back memories from the first group of SA:MP admins who were MTA ones too. I spen alot of time in the server alone with near 60-70players. People who complain about there having too many admins now, would probably complain about too little back then. And to all those admins out there that find their job too hard now. Try handling 60 people on your own. This was not a one off thing. It happened on a regular basis.

This is memorable, Grant and I still talk about this regulary IRL.

Alot of people have been total asses, Omri, but look forward and try to change and sort your porblems, don't keep looking back at all the bad things. I done that for a long time and I keep kicking myself for doing all the stupid things I done in the past. I could have went really far as an admin, but I blew it by installing one stupid little program on my computer. It ruined my whole 'career' as an admin and I lost alot of respect, which I am still trying to gain back.

Look forward not back, try and forget the bad past and ignore those who bring up the bad things again.

Now all I have to fight against are elitists, and we only fight with words. I usually win though. ;)

When I was a player, admins were often unhelpful (I mean, they were directly unhelpful, not unable to respond or whatever) with the exception of a few (like Andre) who were very good. I try to help players as much as I can, rather than screw over the regulars like so many admins did when we came off the official list awhile back.

Guys, with the server official, you have fewer admins breathing down your neck and harassing you (as they are busy dealing with new players more), so stop complaining and enjoy it. Believe me, when admins start griefing you and absuing you because they have no new players to deal with, you'll miss the deathmatchers.

No Problem, I feel I owe you guys atleast that. I have made many thoughts about it what I have reached in this community and feel that i'm going to try when I feel more time to play here to start playing and beeing the good old Omri from the beginning of the community.

That movie means nothing to me, but that's because I did not choose to play on sa:mp Argonath back in that time.
However, as Aragorn said. It's a very good movie to watch on to understand some things.

To be honest, I do not care so much for the sa:mp server, I just don't have "fun" on there.
And now when I have atleast tried it...
So yhe, I might just be an stubborn mta:vc player, where we have no such things as OOC....
How the internet can be instresting sometimes, even tough it's just "Online", the internet has it's own World and culture.
For me, it's has always been time to start working on real life. Also called get the fat ass out of here and start thinking...

Now when things have settled down a little, I can start go back on track to work and search for something wich is precious to me, knowing that this good web place will remain calm and the best of the best. :cool:

For the guys who are still longing for a fight with Aragorn and want to suck his ass really hard...
I dare you to start a fun community (or start it togheter with friends) just as intresting as Argonath, and then I want you to cope with that community problems without getting any complaints.
Hes a great friend of mine, and a great friend of many others. He's one of the ones on the top on Argonath for a reason.

Think "Leader". ;)

haha so true, I'm not even gonna lie, i used to go there when i 1st started to kill all the DMers when i was a cop, earned me a bit of money to buy some good guns to attack others:P

Cops quickly runned to the hacker to get killed as back in the times you got 1000 when you died :P. I also remember that I earned 80 000 because a hacker constant was at Police spawn killing all cops and he killed me around 80 times.

I usually went on to roofs and watched how the cops and criminals were fighting. Funny times :lol:

I also remember last day before RS3 was released. I spent like 100k on uzi or tec9 or whatever it was, plus some more money on other things :D

we also laughed at a couple of DMers having a fist fight.. but later getting kicked many times..

but MTA:VC still had a place in my heart, so i went back to MTA:VC for a couple months.. there wasnt such thing as ICC.. everything was just in a big chat box ingame, and everybody knew what other people did.. and RP'ed sneak ins and, if there was a drug deal going down, sometimes a cop would come around to investigate..

although i wished i stayed at samp in the earlier times when you chose your skin in selection.. today, i just saw how the RS3 server starting to lag up.. and a dance party at city hall.. before i knew it "hell broke loose" like there was a few minutes of rulebreaking in the whole server..(cops shooting at the birds, people carjacking each other, etc) before RS3 went "byebye".. made me get a flashback of what i felt like, when i went ingame of MTA:VC for the first time, i didnt know what the heck "RPG" was.. lol

yeah.. and SAMP was a new experience for me when the complicated talk system and business system came out.. i was like "why do i have to do /l? whats the point?" but after not using /l for about a week.. i was -600 dollars.. because when i was saying "want to buy some drugs?" without the /l about 5 cops came to my location and all searched me.. a few admins were doing that too, but i went back to good ol' Mta:vc for a bit.. then came back when 0.2.2 came out.

and then they got banned for cheating money in the race system(wich didnt really happen :P)
then i waited like 7months for an unban, didnt get shit out of this game back there :P
