Some people say that SA:MP is void of any RP, but I'd rather have only a little RP than RP like I've experienced recently in VC:MP.
When RPing with Marco and Davron, they tell me they are RPing as truckers and aren't really cops (like their skins suggested). I followed their truck full of something that I had no idea of. I followed them until Marco got out, asked who I was. I replied that I wanted to know what was in the truck. I got a shotgun out of my car (after he got his).
He suspects me for "threatening with a weapon" then aims at me and tells me to surrender. He tells me he is undercover and I am under arrest. I resist, shoot, and he kills me (obviously).
I come back later, saying I had woken up/escaped to a hospital. I show up in the police station telling them of what I had seen (two truckers with something suspicious on board). They then tell me I'm under arrest, "cuff" me (I then run, as you could in real life with cuffs on) and attempt to drive a van with cuffs. I drive badly on purpose until the van explodes. I am cornered, Davron suspects me and tells me to surrender. I'm in the middle of typing "/me : I surrender, officer." when he shoots me and says "Bai." and signs off.
I don't remember RP being this shit-infested before on VC:MP.

RP is not what you want it to be. Its what a group of players involved in it makes of it. Thats cuz we all think differently in different situation. We would imagine things differently. Now, though it would be irritating to get shot and killed when you are typing 'I surrender', it is something that cant be helped. How would they know that you are typing?
If something like this happens, try to laugh it off as I am sure you, as a police officer would have killed someone who said "I was typing that I am gonna surrender!". IMHO the rp done by the three of you was awesome. You may feel upset abt this cuz you were on the wrong side of the law and got shot and killed. No one likes to die in a shootout, period.
Bottom line is that RP, though sometimes may not go the way you want it, should be enjoyed and woven around as the situation demands it. Everyone knows to rp. What matters is how you see it and how you can weave it into something enjoyable.

Complaints against regulars and/or admins should be sent to [email protected]
If you do not have any pictures, send CET time of the situation so logs can be checked. And if you are going to start a discussion about 'terrible RP', do not point at others, give examples on how they should improve instead. Also, to prevent further arguments...
