Hello everyone, I have seen many answers and debates about these two questions ingame.

So, I want them cleared up...

No.1 - Is self defense allowed when no admins are online?
No.2 - Should you suspect a guy shooting to get wanted, or report him to admins?

Ive heard many different versions of them, and I just want one main answer, it seems like rules are completely different between all Argonath Servers

As far as I know, the self defence is allowed even if there are admins online, so pretty much yes...

For the second one I think it depends and also it is up to you. If he is shooting to the air, you may tell him to stop and then suspect, or don't suspect, because he only wants you to do it.

If he is actually deathmatching, report to admins, of course. If he's shooting to you, that takes us again to Nº 1 answer.

MTA:VC and VC:MP rules says :

Only SAMP rule about the first I found on the forum is this one:

However that does not mean that civilians are allowed to use their weapons at any time. If they are shot at, do what would happen in real life: panic and run. Only cops are allowed to shoot back

and near it is the other set of MTA:VC rules, that say the same thing what SAMP rules. what really is contradiction. Well I guess SAMP people, if being shot can fight back with a baseball bat or fists. As then they aren't shooting : ))

For me, I've always seen it as when no admins are on, you can self defense, thats what I've grown up to do on MTA:VC, because thats what some MTA:VC admins have said, but I don't know whether the same rules apply on other Argonath servers.

As for shooting to get wanted, I normally reported it, when admins were not on, suspecting for shooting/attempting murder.

1) self defense is always allowed, but it's better to report although most people don't get the chance while they are getting killed.
2) just report, if no admins are online then just run however the chance of no admins being online are very very very low.
