Title: MTA: SA Problem
Post by: Omri on March 23, 2009, 01:01:55 pm
I've recently just installed Windows XP again to my laptop as allways, but I am having this wierd problem when I press at the .exe when I am trying to run the program. I have had this error once but I do not remember how I fixed it or anything, I may think its something about my graphic card but I don't know specific.

I have attached a screenshot with the error message I get when I try to launch the program.

What version are you trying to run?

DP 2.3 / Higher (nightly) or Lower (DP 2.2 , Working with the old fashioned MTA Serial)

I've kinda think that I found the problem, as I have been downloaded an intro fix because I am lazy enough to wait for the intro's while launching the game. I've downloaded it since I installed GTASA and it can maybe be therefor I have not been able to play Single Player and MTA: SA.
Because look at this, the games that requires the intros aint working the only game that is not required the normal intro is SA:MP and  that is the only program that works, it may sound confusing but I think that is the problem and going to try to solve when I get home.

I've tried that, and tommorw I will try get a new GTA SA CD to install it instead of just copying the files from my computer as I also have screwed up SA:MP now at my laptop.

I'm giving up, every time I find the solution of a problem I am getting a new problem, I am sick and tired of that and therefor I am giving up. Its the faith that I shall not play MTA:SA from my laptop, but I gotta accept it.
Don't lock this topic yet, I might try something new when I get home but I am not sure that is going to work.
