Hey guys. Discussing this tactical game.

I currently have a recent problem with it: The thing is, that the game doesn't find ANY server. Ver 1.1, didn't installed Gamespy and haven't registered online game.

Since you say it's a recent problem, does that mean you used to be able to play online?

If not, there's not meant to be any registration and you don't need to install Gamespy. The servers should load up as soon as you select listing for the internet servers.

Yes, i used to play online, but it was before reinstalling Windows XP. NOw i installed the game again, but no servers are listed.
It means: No Servers= No Multiplayer game = No Fun= No playing it= Death= The Force= Dark Side.

I am playing it also, i like it.
Using Ver. 1.1, i played multiplayer yesterday, got pwned all the time.

I also have SWAT4, But when I try to connect to any server SWAT4 crashes :S
Then I get a message:

Did you put PublicServerPatch? If no, then that's why there's a mistake like this. I sended you one at your PM.

I buyed this game... I loved it!!!!

I am now almost at the end.. and it's damn hard now!!! :(

i know whats ur problem. i had the same.
uninstall Swat 4, and whole directory.
Reinstall. and run the game. go online. see if u can join online matches now.
if u can. install new patch.

I had this game once, don't know where it went, though. Singleplayer rocked, but online mode sucked. Most because of the players playing the game. Team tazers, tkers, taers.. People that ruin

The only thing that sucks about online play is that there are barely any Australian servers, so I'm always with a high ping. = =

I play SWAT4 too, I play it online now and then too, and I've done some Coop with Cutter :)

Do you have an error, which pops up or you just lost connection in the game?

I know stuff like that happens. Once I was tazed by and admin itself. Know what I did?
I got kicked of the server for being spamming the chat with "I'm being teamtazed". And I never ever ever returned to that server again. And I got the same guy banned from a server runned by portuguese guys.

SWAT4 noobs come and go, but veteran players who know what they are doing are rare and if they stop going for a server, it's the servers loss.


I been searching for the 1.1 patch to play with you guys but I have an illegal copy and I don't want to mess my game up by installing the patch.

I have also downloaded version and i have 1.1 patch. Works great and plays good.

Only thing I discovered is that I can use flashlight at 1.0 servers..

I got my copy from Direct2Drive, and I am not dissapointed that I have bought it.

I don't notice any difference (I use 1.1), but it's really annoying that half of the servers use different versions.
