Title: RS 4 money car and property information
Post by: Gandalf on April 01, 2009, 11:07:11 am: As the last bugs are being removed for the release of RS4 we have been checking out what to do with the possesions of players.

While we do preserve the money, in order to get more realistic values on cars and properties we will remove them all, then set them again.
Also the money will be taxed, which means that player with a high amount are going to lose more than 50%, players with less than 100.000 will lose only 10%

In order to make this properly, today between 19:00 and 22:00 CET we will make an inventory of all possesions on server.
If you do not come online during this time your account in RS4 will be removed.

Instructions for valuation:
Come to City Hall and go to the office on the third floor.
Admins will be there to check your inventory.

Thanks to all players and admins who were on server today.

The account report and reset was a joke for April Fools day.
But we managed over 80 people on server for most of the evening, and a long line in City Hall like in the days we were issuing our first passports.

Also we notice a number of players who 'left' on server to make sure their account would be transferred, even if they proclaimed it a joke. :D
For those who feel bad about standing in line for one hour or more.... remember I was in City Hall for over 3 hours talking to all those who stood in line. So we shared the effort.

I mean, think about it. The scripts are only 4 days away, it has been spoken since a while that money and properties could be resetted in new scripts, so it looks pretty serious to me...

Why not just Restart all Money and all ??? simple Delete all Acc`s so we can all start back from 10 k ;),,, i just wanna say i have around a mill now, but so all get a new fair change i means this will be the way

Better leave the accounts, but if there is going to be A maintenace then this is the best one

Gandalf and the other leading team knew well that eventhough it's still Aprill's fool, they knew that they have a very big voice to manipulate Argonath community in SAMP to put in a believe that it is a joke.

One more thing: Why should the majority of players on Argonath, who wasn't online lose their accounts just to lower the value's of cars and properties?
