Post by: Link9rly on April 09, 2009, 01:05:34 am
Well... he hates how I set up my entertainment center. I don't see anything wrong. Unless you look at the back (wires galore). Well, here are the pics

I can switch between PAL and SECAM in my TV. And it's older than me
Your TV looks new, so I'm not amused that it can change between PAL and NTSC.

PAL and NTSC aren't compatible. Normally he shouldn't be able to do that. I'm actually shocked that he is able to.

How do you know your TV can do this Link?

I dont even look at the part behind my computer. If I took a pic you guys wouldnt see anything but a black bunch of wires. It would look like a starless nightsky. But thats besides the point.

Link if you are so worried about your wires try wireless keyboard/mouse/other stuff?

I don't have a PC hooked up to it.

My DVD can switch from NTSC to PAL. Another thing I found weird is that (look closely and you won't find FULL 1080p logo on it) it CAN output 1080p via component. Haven't tried HDMI though.

@Link: DVD Player*, and even if that is somehow miraculously true, it's locked into just one or the other unless you know how to hack the hell out of it, and you haven't run out of DVD region settings change chances yet...
