-
What caliber/calibre it has?
-
Finding out the caliber of the rounds can really narrows the weapons that has the ability to shoot those kinds of bullets.
Is it a spent round, or is it unfired?
-
it was unfired and was still live and i dunnno what calabra but it had the symbol "Star" under it.
-
From pic it looks like .357 ammo
like this maybe?
read the bottom of it it should say what calliber it is
-
I think it's not .357
.357 is more smaller?
I don't know about bullet much...
But this one look very familiar...
I think I've seen it since 2004?
Is it possible to be a mortar bullet?
or AA bullet?
-

or AA bullet?
WTF???
-
WTF???
Yes...
AA Bullet can be small like BB Bullet
-
Something tells me that that isn't the kind of bullet designed to take down aircraft and mortar don't even use "bullets". :trust:
Though I'm wondering how these ended up on your driveway in the first place...

Well yea, not Mortar, Mortar use small bomb
But AA is possible
Maybe military somewhere around there? And they test something... maybe
-
Anti-aircraft weapons don't use those kind of bullets. = ="
Cmon, it's obviously from a revolver...
-
AA Weapons use those kind of bullets... -.-'
Cmon, it's too big to be from a revolver...
-
Name one anti-aircraft weapon that uses that type of bullet.

BTW how likely is it that the militairy tested SOMETHING outside his driveway and accidently dropped a couple of rounds? :P
-
Anti-air weapons?
Yes.
I mean yes, according to James, the bullet probably came from some kind of anti-aircraft weapon. :\

I am not sure, but I believe its a .457 Casull ..
Look at this, maybe its in this thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Comparitive_handgun_rounds.jpg
Or a .44 winchester magnum.
-
This is a 20mm Anti-Aircraft Round:

This is what happens when you fire those rounds at an object:

-
LOL!!! Battlefield 2 :P?
Yes, Battlefield 2, but it made from real model
-
I hope you're not suggesting that PLA munitions somehow ended up on Ben's driveway...
:ps: Type 95 uses 25mm rounds, which are even bigger then what EliteTerm posted! ;)

No?
It's smaller than M249 SAW's bullet (or around that size)
It's just normal machinegun size?
-
Are you sure? Given you can't even specify the type of ammunition it uses, where are you getting this information from?
:ps: SAW's use 5.56
-
Well I'm highly sure
Look at the pic again
Imagine that u driving in the driver room
Imagine that u get out from the driver room
Go touch the gun
It's around ur hand size
-
I found a very similiar, GFL .38 special, Revolver's.

omg...
Go do some research, seriously!
-
How the hell an AA bullet that's so small, can even reach an Aerial Aircraft? :/
-
:poke:
I'm too lazy to research
Well, anyway I change my mind :D
AA Bullet not that small
:cop:
-
I believe it's 7.65x25mm Tokarev or 7.65x22mm Parabellum.. Can't really identify from such picture..
Take a photo, with a ruler or a lighter next to the bullets, so we can see the size..
-
It's either .38 special or .357 definately. Plus this may not even be the bullet you found because its not a picture of the one you found, and guns are chambered for different ammunition so there's not one gun this bullet can come from. And James why the f**k would he have an anti-aircraft shell in his driveway.
And Mario those bullets are not even shaped the same as this bullet. Its definately .38 special or .357 for sure as I've seen both.
-
and what will it help you with knowing what gun it comes from?...
-
and what will it help you with knowing what gun it comes from?...
Improve his knowledge? Or maybe he is just curious, why do you care?
-
Looks like revolver bullet...
-

20mm AA?? thats ok BUT......... try 25mm to 50mm(thats some heavy shit)
ok now my first look i was gunna say some where near 22 but then i had a closer look...(also size comparson) and you didnt realy give us a look at the Bottom... or the perfect top.. but then i scrolled down.. and then a nice image of different Amunition and a better look... Yes 357 magg... Military uses 9mm and Assualt... Cant remember their size...
A revolver.. yeah Sure... have the right size, this can come out of a Semi auto Pistol or any thing realy.. Nothing is to big :D..
AA Bullshit... Nope.. not even close... This could not take down a Aircraft.........
now 7.65.. lol NOOOO :P HAHA
i got a 7.62mm Rifle... trust me No where near it...
i got 7.62 Rounds for all u boys who say oh its 7.62 ammo..

Hand Packed by urs truly
These are most of the time Mistaken for .308 NATO's
-
I'm not saying that Ben's are 7.62's, but the 7.62's that you're showing are rifle rounds, which aren't the type of 7.62's that the boys (Mario) were referring to.
:ps: Why would you [ code ][ /code ] a picture?
-
Wrong button
