Title: VCMP Issue

I know someone said the servers were down.. But I tried logging in anyways.

This resulted in gazillion popups saying something about an error - blahblah. I can't remember what it said. What I DO remember is when I opened up Task Manager to shutdown the popups, it said the name of the popups were 'VCMP 0.9z Update Server Browser', or something of the sort. I didn't have any issues getting in the game or anything. The popups appeared once I got off.

Uhm.. Help?

Possibly, but the update was for people who already had VCMP before they updated the browser.

Also..

Everytime I open up VCMP, a popup comes up asking me to locate my GTA: Liberty City mod installation..

Do I need a LC mod or something?

I got he same pop ups when i close it. Nothing to do about, just close it with task manager.

I do. I guess I'll have to learn to live with them..

They can't cause any damage can they?

Yes with Vista you will get loads of random popups when you close VCMP.
A Salmonella has said, you just have to ignore them and close them.
And no. The pop ups are harmless

I have Vista, it happens to me, everytime I close VC:MP, I use Task Manager, and I always have the shortcut ready on my dock, and desktop.

As this is a software problem, it has to be moved to the appropriate board...
