Norton, but it may slow down your computer. I used it and it was pretty good. Im using Avast now though.

Norton is shit >.>

Bitdefender IS the best antivirus I've ever had. It's saved me numerous times, and it's overall very very good. I've had quite a lot of antivirus': Norton, NOD32, etc.. this one far exceeds all the others.

You can 'get' it pretty easily too.

:ps: May slightly slow down your computer, depending on your specifications.

When I bought my laptop, I had a choice between Norton or McAfee, but I didn't choose Norton because I already used that for a very long time and wanted to see if McAfee was better. I've now had McAfee for over a year and I've got to tell you that it's really a fantastic program that rivals Norton on all levels. I never get problems with virus or any of that other harmful crap and it doesn't give me the problems I had with Norton. Moreover, it doesn't chew through my resources. Norton is still good when it comes the protection factor, but I much prefer McAfee.

Norton has annoying pop-ups?

I remember using Norton Anti-Virus (not Internet Security) a couple of years ago and I had NO pop-ups at all. It was blocking everything silently.

avast - Free, easy to use, versatile and it works as a proper anti-virus program should. Been using it for 3 years now, and have had no problems of any kind so far. Only bad thing is that you need to revalid the key for it each year.. which requires you only to check your email and takes 2 mins.

Also, other good program you should use is Comodo Firewall, it's free too, versatile and also pritty easy to use. Although it asks you for almost everything first, but after asking all the suspicious things it aint going to bother you anymore and works like a dream.

I would advise you to "buy the full package".
BitDefender total security '09 - I've been using it ~since march and I must say I'm quite impressed mainly because of the low-resources consumed by the cpu.Not to mention that the firewall is maybe the best barrier I've ever met.
