Title: Jailed in the middle of a street
Post by: Dave_Newton on May 30, 2009, 12:13:10 am
Well tonight I got jailed by a Freecop, with Security Guards rights, in the middle of a street. I got suspected and tried to escape from cops when suddently a Freecop jailed me, I didn't even do /gu or whatever, I got TPed in the air once and in a weird prison. I don't know if it's a bug or something but it's really weird and not RP at all .

Here is the screen :

I didn't know where to post it, sorry if it's the wrong place.

Yeah, that is a bug and should be fixed soon. In this case a pm to admins would be enough (even if we know that issue) not making a topic, and you know why.

Problem is, person in charge of this script is CBFASI and he is away until next week

I have an idea of what the problem is...sadly I am not allowed to help (not a developer and no script access)

I've seen about 3-4 freecops with security guard rights abuse this earlier today.  Too bad I wasn't able to catch it on fraps or with a screenshot.  It is pretty annoying to have this bug, I hope it's fixed soon.

Yeah that was the one that I couldn't remember.  He was also suspecting people for BS reasons like "insulting an officer", "carjacking", "ramming", mainly stuff that should be done like /report id reason.  I'm glad that he was banned for abusing that bug since it is very cheap.

insulting officer is a valid crime though Keg
but look in funny chatlogs for what sort of things that sburns suspected for,
he is there multiple times

never heard or seen of this bug, a really good thing for abusers indeed

Yeah I've seen them...quite ridiculous.  I meant to put he was /su for insulting an officer when an officer no one was even insulting him.  Although it doesn't even matter.  I had to laugh when I saw the chat logs of him.
