Title: Suggest a good display.

Yesterday, i decided to turn on my main computer, which i use for games. Computer turned on correctly, no problems. But display's power light didn't light up. I tried power button, nothing happened. I thought, that power cable is not connected to display's connection place(whatever it is called). I moved it a little, nothing happened. Cable is from AC to display. After playing it with some time, display's power light lighted, but none of the buttons worked. Power light was on, display was black, no picture, power button didn't work. So, i took off display's DVI cable from computer and used my TV as display, using S-Video. I don't understand, what happened, since my computer worked some days ago correctly, no problems and during these days, nothing was done near my computer, either display.

What to do?

Serviceman recommended to buy new display instead of repairing old one, buying new one is cheaper.

Okay, i will ask my dad, if he will take it to some service.
It had 2-year guarantee also, but it is over already.
Display is LG Flatron L1952T, 19".

LG products are normally reliable from my experience. Maybe a component has burnt out (RROD lol)? Like cDa said... Get a pro to look at it or if it is still under warranty, take it back.
