My friend had this when his power cable (from the wall socket to the PSU) wasn't put in correctly. So you might want to check your cable.

Yep, like Grz said. It's probably your PSU, either your cable or your entire PSU is dying...
Good luck with this, I hope your PSU ain't dying..

This happened to me once.. Turned out the power supply died.. So I had to get a new power supply. It could be something else though.. You better take it to a PC repair shop. Ask to have your power supply checked. If it's dead.. there's nothing you can do but buy a new one.

check Pc temp...that might help to fix the problem, check for dust inside pc, or if fans arent blocked

http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
Speedfan-use it to check your pcs temperature

Here's what you can do to see what's the cause of this.

1. Download and install speed fan
2. Run Speed fan
3. Surf and use normally
4. Post the heats
5.?????
6. Profit

And it'll be obvious what the problem is and i'll tell you the solution

What processor you have? I don't want to know just Intel/AMD, I want to know whole name.

There we go. You just take a look at those Temps

Temp1= Mostly CPU that's 85C (NOT GOOD)

ok What you have to do is get your ass down to the pc store and ask for some Thermal Paste.

Once you aquire the thermal paste put some on your Processor/Heatsink And you should be well on your way to a cooled down Processor and no more shutdowns.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7rPqCvCt0g  = A great How-To apply Thermal paste.

YES, Jesus Christ save thy soul of this fellow machine...
Anyway, those temps are f**king high boy, HDD should be about 30 Celsius, CPU 50-60 Celsius, 40 is like the best temp i think, erm...then Graphics card, lets see 60 celsius is pretty good
You should at least get these temps if you have a desktop pc, on laptop they go a bit higher, but its possible to cool it a bit

Anyway
SOLUTION
Okay if you have a desktop, you open the pc case and you should see this: http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/laptop-8-desktop-internal.jpg
This is a very simple pc, the more complicated or better/faster pc you have the more you will have to do to cool it down
So you might start with cleaning the pc off from dust, dust creates static, and pcs are valnurable to static, it may cause a component failure clean it with something dry, cloth put not those plastic ones, use pure cotton and a vacum cleaner, okay so make sure you get all the components cleaned off from dust, then you see the Heat sink (check the pic) the heatsink helps the CPU to run more cool and better so you just go to www.youtube.com and type in how to remove heatsink and apply thermal paste, okay so now to the cpu, the thermal paste helps the heat to spread faster and that will make your cpu cooler. Okay so you should buy thermal paste of the shop, preferably arctic silver, but any will do. make sure you add only a little of the paste (about the size of a pea) okay so then make sure you spread it EVENLY around the cpu, this step isnt necesary so if youre not an experienced user, dont try it, then the graphics card, erm you could post a pic of the graphics card, it would be easier to describe. But its simple really you just have to be careful, make sure you ground yourself off static electricity, simply by touching metal or something thats metal. Make sure you get good airflow in the pc and make sure you have all the fans spinning, make sure that the fans are not blocked by dust or something else, check also power supply(see the pic for how the power supply looks like) there are ocasionally 2 fans inside, make sure that the PSU (power supply) is clean also.
So all you need to do is clean your pc and check if the fans are working properly. If this helped you say thanks.

Regards
Juraj Horvath

:ps: The tutorial video from Pedobear is good, but as i said before, get someone to do it for you if you dont know how to do it, cuz you might break your cpu which wouldnt be very satisfying, so just get some pictures of the pc when you open it, i would like to see how much dust is in there. I hope you get your pc running, oh and one thing make sure you didnt mess with the RPM (round per minute) of the fans cuz if there are more fans outtaking the air, and there wont be any air inside because there arent enough fans taking the air in, this will result in a kind of vacum effect and result in overheat. Your ambient Pc temp doesnt look nice either, i bet you got fans clogged with dust

Anyway, when some crappy problem happen, (about games, graphic not enough, sound card, etc.) That retarded man said "It's your CD, it's corrupt file, it's blah blah", I don't even trust or believe that retarded guy...
But we just can't do anything about it, the problem is, some time later, I try to call to that retarded guy, he turn off his cell phone or some kind of "Out of Service". And he move the house... OMG retard...

I was thinking of a memory Problem

Not from the heat levels we've seen.

Not from the heat levels we've seen.
If processor is Pentium 4, 85 is normal. I have Pentium 4 at 100 celcius and 4GHz, running @ 4 years.
HDD can be at 70, but it's life kinda ends faster..
If memory heats up = makes problems in your PC, you can't see those temps with any software.

But good that you'll get brand new PC, but it can heat up too :)

Is this okay? My computer has been acting like this lately, it will either just restart out of no where, shutdown (No signal input), or Vice City will minimize and Ati will show "Ati has encountered a problem etc.etc. Send Error Report, Don't Send" where I then just click don't send and it seems to work normal again, except the fact that the computer restarts about 5 minutes after.

1. (most likely) your gpu is overheating
2. power failure
3. driver problem

mine reaches 70c and makes loud whirring noises

Its similair to put a trimchip in a car but you do it with a computer, so it runs faster. But that also pushes it to the limit (the graphic card)

Off topic:
Push it to the limit yeeeeeah  ;)

um.

I dont know what all this talk about overheating is. It seems that if theres any PC problem, people rush to "ITS OVERHEATING"

1) Overheating is an extremely rare event, and almost unheard of on regular store-bought computers.
2) Overheating isnt a cause for instant poweorff. A computer knows when its overheating. And lets you know when the computer powers back on with a dialog box "Windows Has Recovered for a Serious Problem [Click More Details] (More Details - Overheating)"

there are only 2 things that could be wrong that i see..

that your Power supply cables are loose, (Push them in to tighen, simple)
or you have a virus that puts a shutdown countdown

when it shuts off, does it Shut down like normal? or instant goes out?
