Title: Unable to play SA:MP

... I hate laptops..

Ok, I installed GTA:SA and SA:MP. SA works fine and it doesn't lag but SA:MP just wont start up after I click the "connect" button.

The firewall is off. What could be the problem?

Did you downgrade it?

if you mean GTA:SA then no. I tried but it was unable to install the patch.

I've reinstalled SA:MP like 4 times now, still no worky

Changed compability mode to 98, works now. Sorry for bothering

do you have a proper copy on GTA? or jsut copying the game file over?
