Ok so I was checking the conversation logger and then I found out those strange convos, of people I never known, and I wasn't even in the convo, the logs just show the two people in a convo talking normally, and I am still wondering what's this. Doing a fullscan in my avast! by the way.
-
Maybe someone using ur email account?
or maybe u sleepwalk and add that person and talk
or maybe a ghost
-
I don't think anyone is using my email account, my own address isn't in the conversation. It's just two people talking normally, but something like me watching it secretly. Does anyone know what's this?
-
Maybe some MSN Staff accidently made u a staff that can watch chatlogs?
lol, I dunno
The problem haven't been happen before
Try contact MSN Staffs
:cop:
-
Any other family members who have maybe been using msn?
-
I have checked, those conversation logs are from people that never used this computer.
-
Maybe someone hacked it? :devroll:
-
Maybe the ponk invadors invaded your PC. :wow:
-
Well....that's weird....maybe you where chatting with more people and you left, and they talked normally after id....dunno.
What where they talking about?
-
They were talking normally, about uhm, college, err, I rather to keep their privacy. :conf:
But I've never interacted with those people through MSN. My avast didn't detect anything.
-
These logs, are they things that are personal to you that only you would know?
I have seen people send me stuff like "Hey,", "How was college?" etc.. even though they are offline.
It is probably one of them MSN worm things.. I'm not too sure how to remove them though. Will do a good googling and try to find out for you.
-
Situation is - Two people who I never interacted with or heard about in my life are talking about their particular subjects, and I am getting the logs for some strange reason.
:ps: Apparently all those strange logs are from Brazillian users. Thanks in advance, Wash.
-
Maybe you have Discovered some glitch or Worm.Because 87% of Hacker discover how they did it by a mistake.
-
Well, in the interests of Data Protection I advise you completely remove them.
-
Yeah it seems keeping them won't help me solving the problem, I am getting rid of them...
-
chat logs are logged int othe computer that anybody logs on.
if your password is not saved, then the ONLY way for a chat log to land in your folder is somebody having your password, and talking to others..
so, if you can afford it, delete the chat logs and see if the problem persists..
again, its impossible for chat logs to create themselves.
-
Hmm.. Strange, but I think that this is one of those worms that MSN has alot of, I mean they can easily hack your webcam and see what you are doing if you are online and have them on your contact list. Now that is scary
-
I forgot to tell.
Before deleting them, actually, in all of them, there was always a same person, it must be a worm, because it's like this man has been using my computer with his email to talk to others and then I get the logs...
I have all of these deleted now. They seem to have stopped. Anyway, if there's still a worm doing this, any suggested way to remove it?

download the
AVG 8.0 Internet Security 60 day trial.
Endorsed by Microsoft
Scan - Erase - Uninstall :p
-
OR : Get his email and explain all to [email protected].
Trust me, I have got people's internet terminated through that email.
-
Well the "great" thing about a worm is that it acts exactly like a worm. It goes to your system root and stays there eating up all shit. I got one of those msn worms and it totally crashed my system after a few months, I hadn't even noticed that I had a worm. So I ended up cleaning my harddrive from everything. But as Sickness said Scan erase unistall :) Or if you're expert you can take it away yourself ;)
-
Maybe someone using your computer had a fake email to make friends?
Cant think of a reason why anyone would do it, but its the only reasonable explanation of those logs being there.
