Tomaz, I am pretty sure it is your processor fan.
Open the PC, clean out all fans with a vacuum cleaner (small one if you have) and when you switch on your PC watch if the fans are turning.
If it is broken, get one from a trashed PC.

Good luck.

I have my PC running all day, and have a lighty uppy fan on top of my CPU fan. I dont know if this helps lol but it doesnt tend to overheat,  but occassionally souns liek its taking off...  Anyway check all the grates in the case to see if any are filled with dust n stuff. Especially if you have pets ;) .

I had the same problem when I downloaded a 'bad' version of my graphics card.
Did you try updating your drivers?
When did this start happening?

I'd download all the pieces from Newegg... 4 of each! ;)

I'd have multiple computers, servers, TV's, speaker systems (got damn that'd be loud!), and everything else...

You may just have poor air circulation. What processor is it? I suggest getting:

1. A better case
2. A better CPU fan
3. Some good fans for the case.

If his computer is a prebuilt one he wont be able to get into the BIOS.
