Hey guys,
One of my best mates recently got GTA San Andreas with the reason to 'kick my ass' because i let him play on my PC on the server a few days ago and he loved it
The problem is that when the game loads, there is a white screen first, and then the two rockstar logos appear <with sound> then another white screen then the credits screen then it closes. Any ideas what the problem is?
He has windows XP and has all the minimum PC requirements :)
Graphics card: nvidia riva tnt2 model 64/model 64 pro
^^
This badboys prob the problem i attached a pic of the specs for it
:ps: Sorry if i posted this wrong section but at the end of the day, if you help, we got a new player :)
Thanks for looking,

Is he using a legal version of SA?
If yes, he should reinstall the game.
It might also be a driver problem, but it should show an error before even launching GTA SA :S
Hope this helps,

A GeForce 3 or better is minimum required to play San Andreas, I don't think he can play the game with that graphics card.

The best way to try and solve this:
1. Get the latest drivers for the video card
2. Get all Windows updates for things like Direct3D
3. Reinstall SA and use full autodetect.
First make sure singleplayer works. Then download the 1.0 patch from our site.
Again fisrt check single player. If that works, then start SA:MP.

actually the problem is your will never run it on a 32mb graphics card no matter what, i tried i have it on my 32mb graphics card on my laptop it cannot cope with it due to the performance needed.

Or he could just read a tutorial if he hasn't ever opened up his computer...which I doubt...
In school we had to learn the names of computer parts..

After letting anyone install something in your PC, always keep a distance and switch it on with a stick.
The sprark coming from the 'on' button is about 30cm long.
