Title: Sometimes PC won't turn on.
Post by: John_Vaughan on July 12, 2009, 04:20:18 pm
Sometimes, When I am going to turn my PC on, It won't turn on... I got to replug it after 1-2 times, then it will work..

I'm not sure of what this would be.

Thanks in advanced :)

:ps: Today it did turn on normally.

Ensure the cable leading from the power button to the motherboard is fully connected to the motherboard. Could be due to a loose connection.

If that don't work.. Then try using a different power supply (if you have a spare). If you do not have a spare, You will have to find a way to test your power supply. Could be signs of your power supply failing.

i had the same problem,

i kept trying and it started after 10times.
i started playing SA:MP and after 5minutes of play...BOOM!
turned out my PowerBox(where the power cable goes into ur PC) blew/toasted itself.

so i recommend you get a new PowerBox

Yeah, make sure you get one that's got enough power. If you buy one that does not supply enough power for any part of your PC, your PC will fail to work. D:

By the way, 'Powerbox' is known as a Power Supply Unit (PSU).
