Title: Tickets ?
Post by: Masacru_Alex on May 30, 2007, 11:15:22 pm: Hey i use sometimes to stop ppl who are driving and ask them to show me their driving license .After i say that i do /registration id ,if he dosen't own a license and he say he do :/me showing the license , i say it's a fake one and he have to pay a 500$ ticket !Now i asked one guy he refused and run , i su him and he started to say i abuse .Can anyone tell me are tickets allowed ?Someone told me tickets are free ? What is this supost to mean ?If the civilian refuses to pay the ticket we leave him alone ? That's non -rp then why we take license ?At least we could think like this :I will go to get a license so i won't have problem with the cops.
If we can give tickets , but we can't su the ppl who don't pay =it means we can't give tickets lol .
It would be cool if we would be able to give tickets , if he run or refuses to pay we /su him .....and ask him for surrender and if he refuses that - sh00t.

I just want you to answer me .
Don't say we are allowed to give tickets but we can't su the ppl who don't pay the ticket cause all ppl will refuse to pay if it's like that.

I'd like to see a fireman getting jailed right before he is at the hose at fire cuz he 'forgot' his license xD
Police, Firemen and medic can drive without license..

If civilianz AIN'T got, they do something illegal and can/must pay ticket/suspect ;)

Thats how I got this wole sh*t with driving license...

More admins - Got jacked by a hacker, he got frozen and SOMEONE (check the tank owner) jacked the hacker RIGHT before I got it back!
Would be nice if a rule protected us from thins :lol:

Just to clarrify, you SHOULD NOT pull people over just to check license- VERY irritating. Only pull them over after following if they drive crappy, then check license and then fine.

You can fine them for Damage to property, trauma caused to officer, damage to environment... that can be RP ... but it cant be helped if some dont have license... so dont fine for that... however if you try fine for above, and they drive off- suspect for either 'failing to stop' meaning failing to pull over or 'resisting arrest' or something... and give them chance for surrender or bribe so you dont feel guilty xD... however if they run- the felonies build...

I don't pull over all ppl though.If i drive behind someone and when he see me he is accelerating i tell him to pull over.Why would he accelerate when he sees the cop ?Hmm maybe he is afraid cause he will be caught when he is driving without a driving license at him :)
In 1 word :I am not asking to pull over all civilians lol :) SOme of them ,it's part of the cop job ....many civilians can die because a guy wasan't caught by cops when he was driving without a license :) !

Post by: Hafford on May 31, 2007, 01:49:24 am: On the registration command, the things shown, Passport and License, are not always ment to be used as such... if they do /me shows license, then it's legal, the License and Passport are for owning cars and houses., So if they do /me shows license, and they don't have a license in /registration, then you let them go, because in most cases, they don't have a clue what you're talking about :)

As I do not have a drivers license, the consequenses when I drive without it are mine.
And while I could easily give myself a license, it is more funny to see how people react.

But perhaps you should bring down the price of the ticket. $500 is a lot, if you ask $50 more people will play along.

YOu can fine them for
-Dangerous driving
-Drunk drving
-Damage to private property
-Damage to government property
-Damaging the environment
-Tresspassing
-Urinating in a public place
-Abusive language, anti social behaviour
-Smoking in an indoor public areas
-Weapons out in public place
It could then go on to suspect if: They fail to stop (pullover), continue felony, fail to pay.

i keep all fines at about $50-$150 ... because they wont pay too much, and you cant really suspect for minor offences.
I see suspectable offences as: assault, sever aggresion (inc hitting cars, cop cars), hijacking, murder/ mansloughter via driveby/ running over and aiding a suspects escape.

With some of these prices, no one will pay.. eg I only do about $50 for most of them eg damaging/ punching a lamp post or something. I think (from exp as giving out fines :lol:) that the prices above will be paid by players :)
