If found this neat, free little program that actually does work pretty well. You turn it on before you play games and it shuts down the Windows Services that you don't need while playing games and when your done, turns them back on. It also shows a list of running programs that it think you may not need while playing and offers to close them too, but you don't have to.

I'll try it on a lower spec PC of mine.
Thanks. :)
EDIT:
Results:
Works pretty good. :)
Got a FPS boost of like 5-10 FPS. :)

Not compatible with MTA 0.5 if you close all services.

Wow, that works like a charm, thanks. :D

You may have to try un-selecting some services from the list. Maybe MTA 0.5 needs one of them since it's like a mod. Works fine for me on SA:MP however.

I only got an extra 3 fps.

Gonna try it out on my EEE.

It has had no effect on my computer, but I'll still use it. I will try it on my old PC when the GPU is delivered.

I'll test it out :) Seems good.

15fps increase.

I have been using it for long long time already. I see difference on some games, so it works well.
