Title: Call of Duty 4 Error

Whenever I try to join a c.r.a.c.k.e.d server on Call of Duty 4, it loads up and finally gets to say "Setting up game..." then it crashes to the desktop and a window appears on the task bar saying Error but I can't open it to read the error. This happens on all servers I try. Any fix?

Happens in safe mode too?

In safe mode, I get something to the effect of "Impure client detected! Invalid .iwd files referenced. iw_06.iwd"

if you recently patched, apply patch again,it may be due that

iwd_06 is corrupted, reinstall game or get another copy, or try to find an online fix
