Title: Harry Patch - Passed away today.
Post by: MikeUK on July 25, 2009, 07:09:47 pm: The last surviving soldier in the first world war, Harry Patch, has died in his carehome in Somerset.

He was brave and honourable man who will be missed by generations.

He was famous for saying "Remember the Germans, as well as our own".

Rest in Peace.
