We Should Have More Realistic Car controls Like Drifting Esspeacially For IRL It would Make it More Realistic Rpg and More work for cops instead of quiet nights have the pursuit unit do something..
-
In GTA SA, many cars can drift already... some cars are made for drifting and it's made from realistic
I don't get ur word, what ever
This is Games Dicussion, not SA:MP Discussion
Can someone explain him more better? :poke:
-
GTA is not meant to be fully realistic. If you want realistic car handling - play simulators (like LFS)
-
Is GTA even realistic, AT ALL?
If you want to drift use Elegy. You can get some good drifts with that one
-
Something Like this i mean where we can have fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRzinXCPAqM&feature=fvw
-
You can do that without mods and modified handlinglines..
Just get out there and drift :p
-
u Show me and then ill do it and shut up about it
-
I suggest this to be moved on over to the "SA:MP General Discussion" forum.
--------------------
There are also several vehicles you can use to drift in GTA SA, which include the following:
- Elegy
- Windsor
- Merit
- Buffalo
- Police Cruiser
- Huntley
- Rancher
The above are just a few of the vehicles you can drift in GTA SA. There are others which I left out.
--------------------
As for drifting in GTA SA, the techniques are similar to that of real life. You can feint drift, use your handbrake or simply use your brakes to initiate a drift. These are the three most commonly used techniques to initiate a drift in GTA SA. Once you have achieved the angle of drift, you then move on to using your steering and acceleration to keep that drift going.
Feint: This is the act of turning your car the opposite way of the corner you're going to take, then quickly switching back to face the corner. In other words, you're shifting the car's weight, which will initiate a drift due to a more forceful pull on the side of the car which is outwards from the corner. For more clarity, if you're coming towards a left-turn, you turn right then quickly turn left again to take the corner, thus shifting your weight and resulting in a drift.
Braking: You may also use braking to initiate a drift. Do so by simply jamming on the brakes or handbrake before coming into the corner, then turn and a drift will initiate.
--------------------
I personally suggest you simple get out there, and just attempt drifting every corner. Soon enough, you'll be able to control the car like your own two hands.
Normally, people suggest you to start out by practicing donuts. I tend not to suggest that, as from my experience, practicing donuts do not really help in drifting. It may in real life, but not in GTA SA.
So, get out there, and start drifting.
P.S. Remember, custom handling lines no longer work in SA-MP, therefore you have no choice but to cope with the default ones created by Rockstar.

Though don't try to find away around that, because if you do, you'll also find yourself making an unban request. Any modification that changes the handling of vehicles are strictly prohibited and may result in a ban.
EDIT: Forgot to move the topic... moved.
-
you can replace handling special for drift servers.
on argo perfect cars for drift:
-Huntley
-Banshee
-Sentinel (for me)
-Elegy
-Infernus
-Police Rancher
-
Any car can drift, it all depends if you can control it.
I drift easily with a Savanna, and many complain it's too hard to use.

yea, tepends can you control or no
for me, Savanna is worst car for drift, just can't control it :)
-
You can't drift Infernus or Turismo. They just have power slide.Thats not drifting
-
The Infernus can be drifted. You're correct about the Turismo though. The Turismo does more so powerslides instead of drifting.
-
omg lol, cant drift on SA?
if you cant drift on SA then its because you dont have skills, and not because of San Andreas
enough cars can drift, the ones i use are buffalo and PD cars, awesome driftin
-
-Sentinel (for me)
Sentinels are great for drifting around corners or on long straights (by swinging your car like a pendulum). While evading police, of course :devroll:
-
I like drifting with banshee... Best for drifts in my opinion.

i heard you liek bump dawg
No, you're totally wrong sir, 90 percent of the cars make p-o-w-e-r-s-l-i-d-e, and not d-r-i-f-t.
-
So Powerslide is not drifting ?! :trip:

Comet can drif also if you know how to do it
-
My favorite drift cars
Elegy
Turismo
infernus
winsor
But the video you showed us named tokio drift: they use car mods or a hack to change the gravity i think it is, so it will like slide on the ground to drift, i think there is a video with dr11fteee drifting with those "hacks" on , that looks completely like the video you showed.

They didn't use any Custom handling, all default.

Epic bump meets epic lock. Lock wins.
