Argonath is one of these things. That is why our group can not give up on it, no matter how hard times can be.

Those who like to shit on us can be happy. Their main target has returned. They probably will gossip about this all being a show, fake or whatever other stories they can think of. But it does not matter.

There will always be orcs, and they live among us. There will always be those who feed on negativity, and need to ring down other, as they feel so low that it is their only hope. Some days it is easier to make them win, destroy all and let them find a new target. But that is not how the movie ends.

Argonath has a strong community, and any strong community has people that are jealous and want it to be destroyed. Mostly those who tried for a high position in the community and failed due to their own nature. First they try to build their own, or to get a high position elsewhere. Once they find that they can not get what they lost in Argonath, their only option is to try and destroy what they have lost for others. Or, hide inside the community under another name trying to undermine it.

Argonath is what it became through its owners, and by the direct leadership and direction we give. We are more free and open than any other. People who claim dictatotship here, could not even write such message without being expelled directly at any other community. Those communities keep people happy by rules worse than any prison camp, and for some reason people accept it.

To end the rant.... Welcome back Aragorn.

Do not yet expect him back at full strength. Try to keep his MSN free a bit. But if his qualities are needed, he will be there.

I dont know about other admins but I will keep banning people for moaning, if you mean that.
I want to avoid such problems as you've noticed in future... Either moaners will change, or will say goodbye to Argonath.

I also give my full support to all of the leaders, developers and admins of ArgonathRPG and I always will.
Hope we will grow as an even more strong community than we were before... Glad Aragorn did not give up completely and thanks to Gandalf who once again fixed things up.

Guys, the sad fact is that, even if we do contribute try cheering and stuff, ultimately it's about money.

Let's divide it into two parts:

Emotional support and
Financial support.

The emotional support is something everyone can do. Just say some: Good work here and there.

The financial support is something else.

Of all websites I visited. Among 95% has a donate button.

Now, here an serious problem:

How do someone underage support a strangers website on the internet?

Simple. You can't... because the majority of countries laws require you to be 18 + to even touch an credit card for use for transiction purposes.

And a small number of underage people have (by unknown means) got a valid credit card (wich can be used to do transiction on the internet) from thier parents.

So, onto money support. Not everyone here is 18+, and I do really hope the developers understand that (they do).

Now, there's actually people here who are 18+.

Some are probaly thinking (Why should I donate if not everyone does/can)?

Those who can donate, and really does it should get kudos for giving what's required to keep it running.

Because a community that's cost shitload of money won't run only on emotional support you know.
What can you do? Yes you that are 18+ and actually got spare money.

Simple. Send an (insert value here) amount of money wich you are not going to use anyway.

For example. 10$ isn't a heck alot of money. (according to me)

Now, as 10$ isn't a "heck alot" of money. Argonath can't only run on that, right?

Now take that and add 10 people doing the same.

Now suddenly, 10 people donated 10$.

That makes 100$ worth of money. From 10 different people.

In my country that's around 712 kr. For that sum you can buy a resonable graphics card wich can run for example TF2 on almost highest settings (considering you found a good deal).

I don't actually know the cost each month for argonath. But that 100$ will really help much.

In a nutshell: one people donating 1$ is not much of a cost for the individual person, but when you suddenly get 100 people to donate 1$ you suddenly start to realise that in the end it's a contribution.

That's why it's important that many people donates, because if many people donates, they don't have to donate so very much each person, and in the end it gathers up in a big pot that will help pretty fucking much you know.

I personally wouldn't have anything against that the developers would give more ad space. To increase money income. Right now that ad box at the bottom of the forums isn't really much. And an small ad to the left or right woulnd't hurt ethier. Because you never really look at ads anyway, right?

Seriosly tell me, how often do you look at ads? and are they even irretating? The only ads that are irretating are those that makes a pop-up or those who flys across the screen in the way of what you are reading wich forces you to click on thier shit before you can read again as normal.

I say, offer more ad space as to make more money. And encourage those who can donate to do so, even if it's a small amount.

I personally woulnd't have a problem donating 200 kr (around 28 usd/$) when I felt for it. If it wasn't for those pesky 18 + laws in this world.

I mean, If I can buy 20 cheese burgers for absolutely no reason, I can surely donate 28 Usd for helping argonath economy?

In my country that's around 712 kr. For that sum you can buy a resonable graphics card wich can run for example TF2 on almost highest settings (considering you found a good deal).

I don't actually know the cost each month for argonath. But that 100$ will really help much.

In a nutshell: one people donating 1$ is not much of a cost for the individual person, but when you suddenly get 100 people to donate 1$ you suddenly start to realise that in the end it's a contribution.

That's why it's important that many people donates, because if many people donates, they don't have to donate so very much each person, and in the end it gathers up in a big pot that will help pretty f**king much you know.

I personally wouldn't have anything against that the developers would give more ad space. To increase money income. Right now that ad box at the bottom of the forums isn't really much. And an small ad to the left or right woulnd't hurt ethier. Because you never really look at ads anyway, right?

Seriosly tell me, how often do you look at ads? and are they even irretating? The only ads that are irretating are those that makes a pop-up or those who flys across the screen in the way of what you are reading wich forces you to click on thier shit before you can read again as normal.

I say, offer more ad space as to make more money. And encourage those who can donate to do so, even if it's a small amount.

I personally woulnd't have a problem donating 200 kr (around 28 usd/$) when I felt for it. If it wasn't for those pesky 18 + laws in this world.

I mean, If I can buy 20 cheese burgers for absolutely no reason, I can surely donate 28 Usd for helping argonath economy?
