I can't see how it is abusing... They will get paid anyway. No matter how much. Besides, people like it, otherwise they wouldn't even try. Signature contests are a great way to adverrtise your skills to the community.

this makes me laugh.. it would be abusing if he was stealing sigs.. he asked for people to make sigs for him.. besides, i always make sigs for people free of charge.. why make someone pay for something so simple.. its more like a learning experience with each sig i make.. i dont see why to charge people...
