Maybe reinstalling GTA:SA outside Program Files will help.
Or use FRAPS to take screenshots.
EDIT:
Or get rid of Vista and downgrade to XP.

I have found there is no way to fix this issue.
You must download FRAPS to take screenshots.

I am using Vista, some people even use Windows 7 and we have no problems like that..

I have Vista 64 bit, and I have found that there is no solution to this problem. I have noticed that this not a constant problem with vista. It only occurs with some users.

when i had vista i had the same problem.. i eventually found the pics in some folder in my documents or under my account name folder or something like that.. just try search your PC for "sa-mp-001" and if it finds a pic, open containing folder, hopefully they will all be there.. ;)
im on Windows 7 now.. and it saves back to the game folder :D

Check the compatibility files.. If not there, run as administrator..

same thing happened to me when I have Fallout 3. It took pictures, but it didn't show up on the folder, it's stored in the Compatibility Folder when you press the button.

This happened to me before, when vista came out and i got it together with my pc. Well, what you have to do is reinstall/move your GTA SA to i dunno for example D:/Games/Gta sa not C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/Gta sa. Vista basically doesnt let the files to be saved when gta is saved in the default folder. Just change the folder to for example C:/Games/Gta sa and voila.
