Well the army doesnt have anything to do, they can only rp so I got an idea!
What if we have 2 warning levels ?
Bob kills Ca
Bob gets suspected for murder ( warning level 1 )
Bob kills a cop
Bob kills another cop
Bob gets a higher warning level, the army will come after him (warning level 2)
Or
Bob rams a car, doesnt stop for the cop.
Bob gets suspected. ( warning level 1 )
Bob rams some other civilian cars
A cop suspects him again
Bob steals someones car
A cop sees him and suspects him again
Bob gets a higher warning level, the army will come after him ( warning level 2 )
So when you are level 1, the cops will go after you and they will say surrender, but when you get level 2 the army and the copy can kill him on sight.
Great idea or not ? ( So the army can do something too! ) :)

It should be like this
Level 1: Police warn, pull over
Level 2: Police open fire
Level 3: Swat
Level 4: FBI
Level 5: Army
-
And whats the point of these levels?
And no, in wont be good if higher level=more cash for cops <-- it will be abused.
-
yeah, players will suspect for higher levels and will abuse of it, unfortunatily :(
-
I didnt say higher cash (No one did) I said another warning level so the army can do something too. And abuse cop commands = telling to read rules or kick, and the commands are already getting abused so.. :)
-
I think the idea is quite good, giving the army a role. Cooper's level system will be overcomplicated, however this idea could be devloped further. I'm sure Ron 'n Ronnel have ideas 'bout the future for the army in 0.2 :P
-
Don't confuse warning with wanted level. :cop:
-
Well Jcstodds, in singleplayer its like this
1. Police chase you with bats (patrol for your sight)
2. Police know where you are and start chasing you and shooting
3. Police chopper comes after you and fights you with harsh words.
4. Swat come
5. Da FBI!
6. The army, all out chaos.
-
I know the structure of single player, as well as of the tactics the AI use, but that is not the point. It would be to complicated to utilize a system of 5 stages of felony on a multiplayer game. Especially for new players, trying still to grasp the concept of suspecting someone!
How would you advance to the next level? By command or by the criminals actions? I dont think the police are organised enough to do it by themselves. ;)
-
If the suspect kills 3 or more people he will advance to level 2 or when he gets suspected 3 times ( other crimes ) then he will go to level 2 too .. If someone kills someone he will get suspected, because he killed someone. But the cops can suspect him too, so this is kinda the same thing :)
This would be simple for new players too
1xsuspect = level 1
4xsuspect (3 if he is already suspected) = level 2
Kill someone = level 1
Kill 4 people (3 when you are already suspected) = level 2
Maybe you can even add another color for the level 2 suspect, black or something
-
Quite good idea. But this is better:
1: Cops
2: Cops, FBI and SWAT
3: Cops, FBI, SWAT and Army.
Otherwise, it's getting a little.. chaos..
-
Yikha's idea in summary is just
Lvl 1: Cops
Lvl2: Army
(basically) - and works on a script based on how many felonies or reports the criminal has committed (from what I undestand).
Although RObby remember ARPD members will have the oppertunity of being FBI and SWAT, like Lvl2 but non scripted...
Guess we will just have to wait and see to what the big guys have install for the ARMY
-
I believe - Only 1 Wanted LEVEL
Add Cops rights to Army but as Army has better weapons, Army gets less cash from killing(ONLY killing), like cop gets $500 for killing wanted, army gets $300, so don't players leave cop skin and use only Army skin, as jailing a citizen request more "hability" in Law work , so army gets same cash from jailing - $1000
NOTE:Reward cash is decided by developers
