For the next test of stability we will remove the players markers on the map.

Only to change interiors...it was locked yesterday to prevent people with custom interiors bothering admins to change it and wanting their old one back today...

One noticeable affect of the removal of the minimap blips. Lots of cops on the radio saying:
"This is unit XX disengaging from chase, lost visual of the suspect, over"

This can be interesting and funny to see how it works, for cops they do now have a much better reason to patrol 2 and 2 :D

yeah, and that's awesome.. playing without markers, really, more RP:)

Crashed in around 3 minutes after joining the server.

edit:
I don't think it fixed anything.

Maybe turn off custom car spawns or restoring position when reconnecting.

I dont like the dots on the minimap, but I guess this will me better for roleplayers intrested in some real roleplay ;)

The Donts got Litle to do if you can Rp good or not and i don't think Removing dots wil make Any Diffrance Especaly becous there are servers with 200 Dots all Diffrent colors

I keep crashing as per usual.
But the blips thing is awesome!
This afternoon we've done 4 drug busts, and the dealers didn't notice us even if we were behind the corner. I think it should remain.
- for the cops will be more difficult to find criminals and chase them
- for the cops will be easier to conclude a drug bust

- for the criminals will be easier to escape
- for the criminals will be more difficult to deal drugs

With SAMP's severe desync over 50 meters, I'd rather have the blips on. If only someone drives away those 50 meters, all you'll see is his lag ghost and you'll have to guess which way he went.


Not to mention that it gives the feeling of either being bugged or the server being empty.

I still crash as usual. I prefer having the markers removed and I'd suggest reducing the nametag draw distance as well.
