So, today I was on this forum when from out of nowhere my computer restarted, when it finished restarting, my mouse couldn't move, the whole computer freezed...
I turned it off and on again, it said on black screen insert boot in proper boot device..or something like that, reboot....aghh idk..
What is this??? Anyone? :help:

Something happened to your hard disk probably. Get a USB hard drive box and try your hard disk in other computer, does it work or no.
If no, then your hard drive may have overheated, but i am unsure about this.

Well more then likely, your Hard Drive has become corrupt or damaged either by physical abuse or just software failure or w/e...
you may need to format your HDD and reinstall Windows.... there are many other solutions and issues that could be causing this problem but i doubt they have caused this issue.

format the pc and re-install the windows it will help I'm sure

you do realise formatting the PC doesnt fix all problems :poke:

This is a more hardware problem but i agree with Madboi formatting doesn't solve all problems i use Acronis TrueImage Workstation just back up your PC on the day when it was alright (that solves everything for me)
and you won't solve hardware problem by formatting PC jeeezzz

What is your system specs?
is it well refrigerated?
what is your power supply?
do you have any damaged components?

is it well refrigerated?
do you put your PC in a fridge? dont you mean cooled?? and i doubt its a cooling issue thats making it ask for a boot disk...
-
check cables etc.

Thank you all but it seems my brother made it...i just came home and I asked him did he tried something about it he said "no" and when i came to my computer, it worked... BTW Wayne, i think cooling it may made this problem.

you probably cant do this with a laptop but when i got that msn i just took out the cables of my HDD and reconnected them and it worked
