hey all
why Argonath RPG is not in the Official ? because when i click Official i can not see Argonath RPG ...
can i know why Argonath RPG is not in the Official list ?

Argonath RPG's Place got replaced by another Server... :cry:

We were removed from official tab because 'official SA:MP servers should not run or promote competing mods'.
As we have been running the only competing mod (MTA:SA) when we became official, obviously not a truthful reason.
Not being on official tab will cause less hackers to join, however it does mean that any new pleayers should betreated even better. We will become more strict on treatment of freecops and other new players by regulars.

I can see those SAMP folks are sooooo jelous that MTASA has done an amazing work and has done it better and faster than them... well, who cares!

well in the mornings are like 15 -20 players .... and the good part is that the ammount of hackers has reduce drastic imo :hurray: and thats good!

difference is obvious,
its really hard to find the server if not official
if it hadnt been official i probably never found this
in the morning we had 40-50, now maybe 20,
but less hackers/rulebreakers so thats good

Personally, I support our server being on Official list. Haxours is nothing to an opportunity :)

Same as I heard, and if so - it would be lame.

Apparantly, the makers of IV:MP and SA:MP are enemies from what I was told, so that could of played a part in the decision to take Argonath RPG off the Official Servers list.

Well yeah. Sure it's not on the official list.. But I've been noticing a shard decrease in hackers lately.

Lags less than SAMP for me (when both clients compared in "deserted" areas as I haven't had a chance to compare crowded areas yet).
And since MTA:SA 1.0 supports joysticks (way better than GTA:SA does in default), I'm actually ready to move there from SAMP.

For you it may not be better, but for a lot of other people it is. And lag was in MTASA developers preview, in MTA:SA 1.0 there is no sign of lag, even if 50+ players.
Also MTA:SA does not have crashes every 5 minutes and has a 100 percent better syncronization.
That's not a place to discuss which client is better and why, thought, let's drop it now. :)

From what I have seen, I'd have to say that MTA: SA is much better than SA:MP right now. It basicly crushes SA:MP in nearly all aspects. All who do not believe me should give MTA: SA 1.0 a try, and find out for yourselves. ;)
