Title: [PSP] Homebrew and Discussion
Post by: Syn on September 08, 2009, 01:45:10 pm
I
thought id make this topic for the discussion of PSP's, PSP Homebrew and PSP games.

So anyway, im currently using:

PSP 3003 Black
GEN-A CFW

Ive been running CFW for a while and i was just wondering what Retro games you have on yours? Right now i have:
Fighting Force (Classic game love it)
Wild 9 (Another old time fav)
Metal Gear Solid
Final fantasy 7/8/9
Pokemon Emerald/Leaf green
Crono Trigger

Anyone Else here got Final Fantasy Dissidia? I got htis the other day and i Love it. Best game for PSP in a long time.
Post your psp specs and Discuss :)

I got a PSP Slim and Lite, model 2004 (Model, not year.) I think, I got only GTA VCS, Pursuit Force and Midnight Club L.A Remix :D

Only mod is a plexi UMD cover (So you can see the disc spinning in there when you play, kinda cool.)

I'm pretty behind with the homebrew atm, but I think I got 3.53 M33 fat PSP,  I got Quake, IRShell, and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops + on my memory stick.

Sony is retarded and is pretty determined to not let you have homebrew, but fuck em

I got my original PSP on the day of release with chrome front cover. Its still in great condition. I bought a 2GB pro duo card for £105 the year after I got it :D that's how old it is!

Never really play on it thesedays. Would check firmware but battery is dead. I think its about 4.01 m33-2 or something!

I played Sega Megadrive emulators a lot and gba for pokemon games!! I used a PDF reader on it a lot also.

I used to pretty much download all the games that came out! Might have to charge it up again!

You can still Get CFW with 5.0 ofw. My original Firmware was 5.03 and useing a HEN (Home brew enabler) and GEN-A I have CFW that is unflashed. So everytime my PSP Powers off completely. It goes back to normal firmware. its pretty cool and unrisky.

I have a little device that turns any battery into a pandora battery, which means I can flash any PSP (not sure about new generation) with ease. Then it turns pandora battery back to normal when you done!

I timed it once. Takes less than 3 min to flash PSP to cfw 2.60 m33-2 (or something) from any firmware.

3004 Yes using HEN and GEN-A Cfw.

NOT with a pandora battery. As all 300* have new motherboards that stops pandoras and it will brick it :)
if yo uwanna do it hit me up via msn
