There is a possibility these guys are right, but there is also a possibility they are wRONg.
And we did not understand what happened when we started this, are we sure about what will happen when we manage to realise the plans ?
Nature is a very complex thing that can adjust to almost anything happening, however these adjustments are not fast.
In our haste to undo any damage we might have done we could just as well do more damage because just when nature has adapted to the higher levels of carbondioxide, we take them away.

Abraham, i take your point but at least watch the video, i used to be just like you but he does make a persuasive argument and plus, in worst case scenarios some scientists say changes may occur in 10-20 years, you going to be dead then? :D

I'v watched ALOT of movies about global warming, iv for an example watched the one by Al Gore, he has alot of good points in it, ATM im listening to the movie you linked, Iv seen statistics and other stuff aswell, i know alot about global warming, and you know what i realized? I'm a mentaly evolved human beeing, i just realized that... when you die, you wont remember shit of this, I do not realy care how long i live, ofcourse i do not wish to die within 20 years or so, but hey wtf. i wont care when im dead. you know what? you wont be able to care when your dead, everything your feeling etc is all thanks to your brain, when the brain is dead you will die aswell. you will be lost forever, you just wont come back and you wont remember anything, you wont think, you wont see, and when i say you wont see i do not mean that it will be all black. you just wont be able to see shit, this is something that i find interesting, this is alot more interesting then global warming. what will happen to you when you die? Bah i got the fucking awnser bitches!
I know the meaning of life, damn im smart. in less then 16 years i have been able to figure out, first the meaning of life, then what happens to you when you die. and you whine about global warming? omg omg, who cares? If you really do not care about other perhaps you are right.
But if you care about people who live after you, you might try to take care. What about your children ? What about their children ?
Do you want them to live in the mess you created or do you want to try and clean up at least your own mess.
For any being on earth, no matter if you are animal, plant or microbe, the main meaning of life is to keep life going. In general that means creating offspring. In some cases it is better not to. :redface:

I always love statistics, as they say little to nothing.
For which country is this ? Are there worldwide statistics available ?
When you see the statistics of less industrialiszed areas is there a trailing effect ?
If it is a global chart, are the measurements evenly spread throughout the globe ?
Just a couple of questions popping to mind.

When i go camping over the summer holidays theres always a debate about this. have a look in the past, what was before the ice age, freaking hell the earth was over heating. there are many Scientists that say the earth will heat up and later in a couple of thousands of years will cool off and blah blah blah it is a continues cycle

This is true petey but that doesn't mean shouldn't try and do other things, like preparing for when/if the sea levels rise, I live up fairly high from sea level but I don't want all the Dutch invading my home :lol:

Well, I did some searching, and when the ice caps melt , most of us , will in fact. Be underwater.
Take a look at this map of what its going to look like , all the area's shaded in green , will be land , but the areas shaded in blue, will be under water. :neutral:
